Arthur's ability to enthuse about the secret places, buildings, alleys and the stories behind them was infectious. His knowledge of the history of all we saw brought it all to life in a memorable way history books do not always manage. Our stops for Madeleines and Cheese tasting were timely and tied in perfectly with the narrative. Our small group... More

I had completed walking tours with Urban adventures in other countries - Arthur's tour matched all of them. I really appreciated his enthusiasm, his professionalism and advice. This was brilliant fun & the cheese was delicious !!!!

Did an Urban Adventure tour and would have been a great tour if it was a small group as advertised but I don't believe twelve people is a "small" tour. We were guided through wonderful small back streets but we could not hear the information or stories Arthur, the guide, told as there were too many people and if you... More

Dear Hardgoing, Thanks very much for your review and sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with our services. I would just like to add that we do advertise that we run tours with a maximum of 12 people as it was clearly stated on the informations when you booked the tour. We do consider that this is... An excellent walking tour that took us to places you wouldn't find otherwise. Tim was a great guide and went further than required to make it interesting. When we stopped for the cheese tasting, I managed to get some plastic cups from the cheese shop and bought a bottle of St Emillion Grand Cru wine from the wine store next... More

I can't begin to rave about my tour guide, Arthur. I originally missed my tour date as traffic got the best of my cab. Fortunately, they were able to rebook me for the following day. I went on the Walking Tour of Paris and I loved every minute. My favourite part was exploring the urban artist on various street signs.... More

Being a tour guide myself, I am always excited to wander around with someone else and have them tell me stories for a change... The best guides bring in history, fork lore, personal stories, and tailor their tours to the group in front of them. In each and every regard our guide Arthur went above and beyond!! My mother and... I did the bohemian tour in the afternoon with Arthur. Great guy, knowledgable on a variety of topics. Took us on the roads less travelled. Tasted the most delicious éclairs, stopped for a wine along the way and finished with a great meal next to the oldest square in Paris. Arthur was very Accommodating of the groups needs. I highly... We had a delightful time with Arthur as he led our group through small streets and pointed out interesting places we would have surely missed on our own. He is enthusiastic and energetic and spent time with each member of our tour group (three parties - nine individuals comprised our group). He wove history and politics into the tour; it... More

Alix was an excellent guide; patient, knowledgeable, and friendly. The small group of nine plus our guide was very manageable and the pace was very good. Alix shared interesting and fun facts about the history of Paris as hidden places and passages were revealed. Her command of English was superb and so were her recommendations for places to eat. If... More

We took a morning walking tour with Paris Urban Adventures and could not have been more pleased. Our guide, Arthur, was very knowledgable, easy going, fun, flexible, informative and clearly loved the city and the people of Paris. I could not recommend this tour and tour company more highly. We saw parts of Paris we would not have seen and... More
