My wife and I really enjoyed our tour with Tim. The group size was small (5 of us + Tim), and the pace was very nice, with regular stops for conversation with Tim and our fellow tour attendees, yet we covered a lot of ground in the St. Germain and St. Michel areas. We saw many things that we would... More

The highlight of my trip to France was without a doubt the walking tour that I did with Arthur and Urban Adventures. Best tour I took while in Paris. Incredible sites, exceptional tour guide (Arthur) whose passion and knowledge were infectious. One of the coolest tour guides ever. A nice leisurely stroll through St. Germaine and the REAL Paris. Final stop was wine and cheese at lovely cafe in hidden town square where we played a traditional French game (pettanq)...What started a... More

I did both tours in Paris and loved them both. Our tour guide Arthur was friendly, relaxed, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about Paris and its history. A great way to see some special areas and learn more about Paris! Highly recommend 😀

We really enjoyed our tour with Arthur. He is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to the history of this city. He also shared plenty of fun facts about current events and French culture. We walked about the city at a leisurely pace and had two pleasant snack breaks. Overall it was a lovely experience! Merci Arthur :)

My mom and I took the hidden passage tour with Alix. This was my fourth urban adventure tour and I knew it would be a great way to end our trip. Alix did a wonderful job interweaving French history with local mordern commercialism. We love all the beautiful gardens and unexpected art we were able to experience . Her pace,... More

What a great tour. It felt like spending the morning with a friend. A very knowledgable, local friend - who told stories of Parisian history. Thanks so much for a great morning.

Walking tour of off-the-beaten-path places in Paris was awesome! Alix, our guide, was knowledgeable in French history and shared stories on a very memorable level. We saw gardens, stores. Archways and more that a casual visitor would not find otherwise. Great value and great tour!

Today's walk was most interesting, informative and enjoyable. Tim is an extremely pleasant and knowledgable young man, who made the morning a great experience despite the showery weather. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in Paris.

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
