We ordered e-tickets online before the visit (struggling with the language at the webpages for over an hour). The e-tickets are without discount. We had to stay in the regular ticket-queue, and the e-tickets were not valid! But it was solved with e-mailing from the mobile phones (no Wi-Fi awailable). Inside the Concordes you are not allowed into the cockpit,... More

Located at Les Bourget, where Lindy landed, the museum covers the period from the 1800s to the present. It is particularly strong in presenting the technology of aircraft around the WWI period along with an intact gondola of a German dirigible and various monster dirigible engines that are almost worth the trip by themselves. We got there by using the... More

Yes, I should have a better appreciation of the impressionist, the Renaissance artist, beautiful old chateaus, but I'll be honest, between the crowds and culture overload this aviation museum was a welcome relief. The building is a former commercial aviation terminal, filled with everything from hot air balloons to a ballistic nuclear missile. They have two Concords! Yes this appeals... More

It is several blocks from the train station, but walkable. Museum was good, but I expected more. Nice displays inside, but outside was so-so. The Concorde is in a hanger there, and that was very interesting.

I visited the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace, located in Le Bourget, France in late May of 2014 and would wholeheartedly recommend this Museum to any dedicated aviation enthusiast. My trip started by hopping on the RER B rail line that runs through Paris proper and makes a stop right at the city of Le Bourget as it works... More

The museum is a bit old-fashioned, but so am I and I enjoyed the diplays of WW1 conditions and aircraft, uniforms, static aircraft displays, etc. BUT AVOID going out near the museum for meals. We chose a Japanese restaurant, that was actually good enough. As we stayed at the MErcure, we walked back from restaurant....not late, about 7:30 PM (19:30)... More

For non French speaking people it requires a little more effort. Take the audio guide option as it will help to put things into context. There is an extensive collection of military jets from all over the world. It is great to see and compare these aircraft in the one location. The collection of prototype aircraft is unique. The hall... More

This excellent free to enter museum is well worth a few hours of anybody`s time. You only have to pay if you wish to enter some of the aircraft. Its very well laid out and very light inside. With a number of exhibits outside too. Many Museums could learn from this one about how to display large exhibits in an... More

The museum has great number of attractions starting from early time when human try to fly as birds till the space race. The museum has free entry except for his two major attractions unless you want to see inside the boring 747 and concord flight you don't need to pay anything but the 8euro is worth paying to have the...
