The pastries have to be appreciated with the eyes as well as the mouth. The prices are high (I never thought I would pay $15 for a dessert) but oh my goodness was my Gateau St-Honore good, lasted me more than one day, so perhaps the price was only slightly ridiculous.

This place has everything you could need and is of course very beautiful. The cashiers pack your bags for you (unlike other 'normal' supermarkets in Paris). But underlying all this, there are some problems. The place was just renovated but the aisles are too narrow for all the tourists who come here to gawk. The vegetable prices are insane and... More

This is a beautiful store with 4 floors of food, cooking tools and numerous places to sit and eat. There are more varieties of food items than I've ever seen and all presented in a beautiful setting with helpful staff. I look forward to going back!

The worse caesar salad I have ever eaten at La Table a restaurant inside Bon Marche Le Grand Epicerie. The only thing amazing was the lack of service. So many staff but noone to serve! One waiter came back and he was buzzing around and finally got some orders taken. The salad leaves were brown and looked like they had... More

La Grande Epicerie has, in a word, EVERYTHING. The food, the wine, food gadgets and cookware--it's all there. I love to visit this place when we are in Paris, and on our last trip we went as soon as we'd dropped off our things at our rented apartment. We met friends there and had a lovely lunch before wandering around... More

The best place for exotic and extensive food finds around the world - though also quite expensive. It's less crowded than Galeries Lafayettes so I much prefer this area. The windows display at Bon Marche next door is always a favourite Parisian attraction for me.

This vast food store offers an amazing wealth of food products, all presented in an extremely beautiful way : vegetables, fruits, meat, sea food and fish, dairies, wines, etc. There are several places where you can eat in the premises themselves. It is one of the most beautiful and richest food store in the world. Even if you don't want... More

Had a great wine tasting at La Grande Epicerie de Paris but overall I'm not sure if I like the new layout. It seems very frenzied and confused and the crowds can be terrible. Also now that the wine is on its own below it's almost a bit scary to go there, since there are so few people. However we... More

A walk through La Grande Epicerie du Bon marché is jaw dropping. The food available ranges from top class fresh vegetables, meat, fish, baked and tinned goods to freshly cooked food to take home. All merchandise is well presented and although on the expensive side - the options are mind boggling. Their home ware is extensive. Worth a visit just... More

Every week I go to the Grande Epicerie du Bon Marché to do my shopping. All the food is of best quality, a bit expensive, but the high quality is worth the money. That's where fastidious Parisians go for shopping, but I see there more and more tourists come from all over the world to buy or just look at... More
