We had toured the “must see” sites in Paris 2 years ago with Richard and had a great time. So, when we knew we would be back in Paris for another 2 days end of June, I immediately contacted Richard (Jan. 2014) to be assured he could fit us in for a tour of the Marais and the Food tour.... More

My friend and I did a tour with Richard through Marais and enjoyed the non- touristy side of Paris. Richard was full of information and always open to answering our questions about what it was like being an ex-pat living in Paris. He showed us some interesting streets with unique stores. Upon our request, he pointed out a fine cigar... More

Richard's walking tour was the perfect introduction to the Marais and Paris. Our flight was hours late arriving, which made us late for the start of our tour, but Richard was totally accommodating, and a pleasure to spend the first few hours of our visit with. He also set up our driver from the airport to our hotel, which made... More

Richard did a great job showing us around Le Marais. My husband and I are foodies so the tour was perfect for us because he showed us the best places to eat, specialty markets etc. We had two 17 year old girls with us so Richard was wonderful by including sights they would enjoy too- mostly clothing and shoe stores.

Our family began our visit to Paris with Richard's Marais tour, which was the perfect way to start. Richard was very knowledgable, accommodating and friendly, and made the tour a lot of fun - good mix of history, shopping, and food - so there was something for everybody. Felt like we saw a lot of things we wouldn't have found... More

After two well travelled friends recommended Richard's tour of the Marais we signed up. It rained for most of our time together but that really didn't matter. We walked through the Paris market (Thursday and Saturday only) and never have we seen so much food and smiling people anxiously awaiting to go home to eat their purchases. Richard is extremely... Richard was the perfect tour guide for our visit to the Marais. We were shown so many hidden secrets that we would have never seen on our own. I loved the fact of combining history of the area, as well as our shopping experience. I thought it was so much more enjoyable having a one on one tour as opposed... More

Our family ( parents plus young men ages 22,15,13 and daughter 20) went on a half day tour with Richard. We are a tough crowd especially because of the age group and I was doubting whether the investment was worth it... He is not cheap... But I knew we wanted a good experience and so we made the investment.. It... More

I recently took a walking tour with Richard through the Marais. It was very relaxed and was like going on a tour with a well informed friend. Because it was just myself and a family friend, and because of Richard's relaxed personality, I never felt like I was "following the umbrella." (Think large tour group where you shamelessly stick out... More

I found Richard through Trip Advisor and every review describes the experience perfectly. He's funny, informative, and a true pleasure to spend time with. We had the extra challenge of two kids (9 and 12) and Richard had no trouble keeping them interested and answering the never ending questions they threw at him. My only regret is that he was... More
