Richard was a wonderful tour guide for our family (children, ages 10, 13, and 16). He kept the kids engaged during our tour of the Marais. They loved learning the history, as well as the fun shops we never would have known about, and of course the stops for chocolates and pastries along the way! This became our favorite day... More

Richard was a pleasure to work with before our touring ever began! He took our family through The Marais, throwing in a bit of his "foodie" touring as we went along. He was so easy going and relaxed with our two boys (11& 15) making our day so enjoyable. We also headed to Montmartre and Sacre Cour with him and... More

I had family in town who wanted a "real" tour, not just one of my "fake" ones ;-), so we booked Richard for a walk around the Marais. He had some great insight into the area that I wasn't familiar with, and answered questions thoughtfully and with great regard for his adopted city. He's very willing to tailor a tour... More

I can't say enough how much I would recommend this tour to families (my kids were ages 11,9,7) and with girls friends. I had an extended stay in Paris (lucky me)! My first tour was with a few girl friends celebrating our 40th birthday. Richard showed us all the major sights then took us for a walking tour of St... More

My mom and I did toured the Marais and Montmarte with Richard. Marais was definitely the highlight for us as Richard does have an encyclopedic knowledge of the neighborhood (he has lived in the neighborhood for 9 years!). Really loved exploring the neighborhood corner by corner. We were staying in the Marais, and had been walking the streets even before... More

I was in paris with my daughter. I had the Marais tour. Richard knows his neighborhood Very well and he loves it. It is like to visit with a friend. Because we were only 2, we were able to ask all our questions. We are foodies, so it was more about restaurants and where to buy "foie gras". It was... More

My husband and I recently toured the Marais with Richard and it was a delightful experience (even though it rained!). Richard is friendly and easy-going. The tour was well thought out; Richard knows a lot about the history of the area as well as its contemporary culture. We've spent a fair amount of vacation time in Paris and have hit... More

My daughter and I were wowed by Richard’s wonderful walking tour of St Germain de Pres. Our three hours flew by as we strolled the narrow cobblestone streets, stopping by the neatest shops for pastries, chocolates and caramels, unique paper and writing materials, books, shoes, and jewelry. He showed us hidden treasures of the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, the magnificent church... More

We (my husband and our 4 kids ages 7, 16, 18, and 19) toured the Marais with Richard on our first day in Paris. We hit the ground running after a sleepless red eye flight, and Richard revived us! It was a wonderful way to start a wonderful week. A perfect blend of history, culture, and food. At the end... More
