Excellent chocolate, odd pricing

Their chocolates are just excellent, and they often let you taste one as a welcome gesture. But how is it possible to charge individual macaroons €1.85, while a box of 12 costs... read more

Was walking around Paris and suddenly felt a craving for chocolate and entered into this store and I am big fan of the milk chocolate and had a milk bar and thoroughly enjoyed it. Worth a visit.

We stop by every time we're in Paris and stock up. We've been offered samples of different chocolates while deciding what to purchase. They do have numerous small boxes that don't break the bank if you're wanting to buy several smaller gifts as well as the larger boxes for family.

...this is the place! Our pastry chef daughter told us to check out this place. We were a little uneasy when we first saw it. After all, we're not used to seeing chocolate on display like it was jewelry. However, the young woman who helped us made us feel very comfortable and even provided a couple of samples. We didn't... We were looking for gifts to bring back. La Maison put together a wonderful selection of chocolates and macaroons, allowing tastes to make the perfect choices.

We bought the little box of mixed dark and milk chocolate fish here for about $10. It was the first place we tasted chocolate in Paris and was my absolute favorite chocolate of the two weeks we had here. We were not offered free samples when we visited but I am ok with that. This place has chocolate available all... More

Their chocolates are just excellent, and they often let you taste one as a welcome gesture. But how is it possible to charge individual macaroons €1.85, while a box of 12 costs €25? €2.70 for the box?

As all luxury boutique, it's crowded and pricey, but it's also very good quality and well if you're a chocolate lover you'll understand why so many of us are willing to wait 15 minutes for a mouthful of heaven. I've personally never been attended to by a rude shop assistant however I am French and therefore speak French. I however... More

Was wondering what the fuss is all about so I gave it a try! Chocolate is sooo creamy and smooth, despite it being pricey and all that. If you are a chocolate lover, do give it a try, no regrets. Two thumbs up!!!
