Their chocolates are just excellent, and they often let you taste one as a welcome gesture. But how is it possible to charge individual macaroons €1.85, while a box of 12 costs €25? €2.70 for the box?

As all luxury boutique, it's crowded and pricey, but it's also very good quality and well if you're a chocolate lover you'll understand why so many of us are willing to wait 15 minutes for a mouthful of heaven. I've personally never been attended to by a rude shop assistant however I am French and therefore speak French. I however... More

Was wondering what the fuss is all about so I gave it a try! Chocolate is sooo creamy and smooth, despite it being pricey and all that. If you are a chocolate lover, do give it a try, no regrets. Two thumbs up!!!

I know I speak French poorly, but when I enter a Expensive Shop like La Maison du Chocolat on Rue Sevres, say bonjour, to an employee, I do not expect attitude from the staff about my attempt to ask for assistance in an empty shop with two employees, doing nothing but talking to each other. The chain is one of... More

OMG this is the chocolat to die for...even thou my French friends say it's crap. This is a great place for French chocolate. Their eclairs are amazing. It's pretty much your stereotypical French chocolaterie.

This is one of the best chocolate shops in Paris. The shop we went to is in the Caroussel du Louvre. We were helped by a very knowledgeable person who did not hurry us to choose. He offered both my daughter and I to taste a chocolate. They are all wonderful. If you like chocolates and if in Paris don't... More

This place remains one of the best chocolate shop you'll ever try. Everything is sensational, from dark chocolate pralines, to coffee eclairs and raspberry macarons! If you're gourmand as I am, if you love quality chocolate, you shouldn't miss this place. What is very nice too is the way they pack everything!
