I love the hot chocolate. If I had this machine I would be incredibly fat but in absolute chocolate heaven!
My boyfriend and I were planning to visit the Louvre museum on a Tuesday, we didn't know that it is closed on Tuesdays. I remembered that Angelina was really close to it and decided to have breakfast there. I have to say that I'm glad that we did. Everything was delicious. So fresh and tasty. The staff made us feel... We stopped here for lunch after our visit to the Musee d'Orsay just across the Seine. We were very fortunate and didn't have to queue at all, although the cafe was very full. Service was fast and efficient and the food was excellent. My daughter & I shared a club sandwich before we had what we had really come for... More
I've enjoyed a very nice Tea Time with an excellent Choc Africain (you must take a picture of it!) and a very good tea. The Salon has elegant and refined decors with typically 'parisien style' tea tables. The staff is very nice and helpful. As a souvenir from their boutique i can suggest the Pralines au chocolat noir et noisettes... More
We had watched Rachel Khoo's recommendations for patisseries in Paris and this was up at the top. Well...fabulous! So good we went twice. I will admit that it is expensive for what it is, but let's face it what isn't in Paris?! Definitely a must. The staff can be rushed and service a little scatty but don't let that put... More
We stopped here to rest our legs and get something small to eat. We ordered the hot chocolate was incredible. It was so thick and chocolatey. We also delicious apple turnovers. The quality was great. The service was just alright and the prices were high. I don't think I would eat a full meal here, but it is great to... More
What a waste of money. After being ushered into a beautiful dining room, we were sorely disappointed when we received our desserts in what can only be described as "take-out containers". The Napoleon (Millefeurille Vanille) (8.90 Euros) came, sideways (layers presented vertically) on an oblong paper container, with clear plastic strips stuck to the sides. Their self-proclaimed specialty "Mont Blanc"... More
Went here on recommendation from a good friend. She said to try the hot chocolate. I was thinking, "how good could hot chocolate really be?" and was overwhelmed with the amazingly delicious answer. This is more like melted chocolate in a cup than hot chocolate from Starbucks. We also ordered an ubelievable pumpkin soup and some dessert. Holy moly it... More
After a tiring day at the Louvre, we stopped in for a light snack. The hot chocolate was decadent, the quality of the food was very good but also very pricey due - for 3 of us, a light snack with a refreshment cost about 40 euros.....so take your time and enjoy it. If you want a touch of "fancy... More
After a long queue we finally got our sit in this beautiful old "chocolaterie". It is a must after visiting the Louvre. Definetely worth the money. Hot chocolate and Macarons at their best.
