I signed up for the popular 1/2 day "Sauces" class. I arrived early and was impressed with professionalism of the staff who warmly welcomed me and the impeccable facilities. The class is set up where everyone gets their own stove, pots, pans, etc. Several full-time students were on hand to take care of the cleaning and prepping of some ingredients.... More

I have been to two vineyard visits this year with the school, both of which were wonderful, and more recently I attended a bread making workshop which was brilliant too. 6 hours of classes with the help of a French-English interpreter. 4 types of bread. It was particularly valuable to have a closer look at the techniques of the chef... More

It was once my dream to attend the school and get the Grand Diplome. I am now too old for that but Le Cordon Bleu offers masterclasses so I opted for the foie gras course. There were supposed to be 10 of us but it seems many cancelled their trip to Paris due to the recent atrocities. Really a shame... More

I took a regional cuisine cooking demonstration while in Paris recently. What a great experience! The chef was informative and had a great sense of humor! I would definitely do this again!

We have toured many wineries in France, Italy and the United States, but none are as informative and interesting as the tours that Jean Michel Deluc leads. His depth of knowledge and ability to convey that information makes for an unique experience. He is fluent in English so he translates what the wine maker says and he fills in additional... More

Took the afternoon terrine class where we made one rabbit with vegetables, one 3-cheese, and a chicken ballotine. Chef Patrick was informative, professional and fun. We took home everything we made including the makings for a salad. It was more than I could eat. If your are staying in a hotel, make sure you have a fridge or friends who... More

I attended the August 8th class on the art of making macarons. It was truly a wonderfull experience! The entire staff was gracious and professional. The chef was so nice and I came back home with a bunch of yummy coco-lime macarons. The class included a cordon bleu apron and bag. I can't wait to try the recipe at home... More

The chef told me that the lamb dish would change my life. One bite and I agreed. The cooking demo was a fun, off the beaten path, experience and left me eager to return home and cook something new. A Paris memory that keeps on giving.....

I enrolled a two-day class as attached, but unfortunately I got a cold and high fever the weekend before. I paid and flighted from Canada to Paris for this class, but in considering of the food hygiene requirement, I think it's unsafe to be in the kitchen with the possibilities of infection to others. I wrote emails and called them... More
