This is a very nice park in the middle of Paris. Parking is close beside in an underground garage. Some things to note, there is a great play park for the kids but you need to pay to get them in - 2.60 Euro each - rather odd we thought. There is a musuem as well of to the side... more

We specifically took the Metro to Luxembourg Gardens so our Shiba Inu could have some "outside" time and meet "Parisian" dogs...and it didn't disappoint. The Jardin du Luxembourg it's a relaxing green area in Paris, perfect to have a nice picnic, to walk along, our just to stand sitting at the lake chairs. I advise to mind the stairs near the lake, because they're a bit slippery. (my backside will remember it for long time) :( more

The word garden is a stretch, it's a park. Maybe there is something lost in the translation. It's the most beautiful park though.
