It's beautiful, you can walk calmly and actually reflect on the beauties that Paris has to offer. The river is clean, with boats and you can see many attractions from the river bed.

I enjoyed my day and was happy that the weather was quite good. The cruise is something you got to see if you have some time.post your cruise, make sure you get to walk around to see the nearby locations.

We used the Batobus to navigate the Seine. It is like a Hop On Hop Off bus. We had only 1 1/2 days in Paris sonwanted to do the " greatest hits tour". The views are lovely. You can hop off and do a walkathon get back on. Or you can do the circuit & decide later where you want... More

Took a cruise from the eiffel tower area, down the seine and back. Was a very nice trip, and line wasn't so long for the tickets.

Did a 1 hour boat trip that we picked up from the river downstairs just beyond Eiffel Tower. It gave a great perspective and a bit of history of the area and was well worth it.

Take the boat ride and you see beautiful Paris. Even walking along the river is great. Most tourist locations - museums are along the river.

We enjoyed a cruise on river seine in May 2015 during our family trip to Europe. It showed about 8 - 10 spots of public interest and had english commentary also. The cruise was for about an hour.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
