We went to Fauchon especially to buy a box of macaroons. A box of 24 macaroons cost 48 euros and this was what we carried home. The macaroons were very good and now I know I should have bought more!

I am sure Fauchon's is over priced and snobby, but I always make a visit. We bought jams, cookies and chocolates for our relatives. I've bought wine there before that was wonderful. They have a restaurant, which I have not tried, but will in the future. The deli in a separate building is a delightful experience as well.

Love the macaroons, eclairs and champagne. Relaxing atmosphere....Parisienne ambience. Fauchon also serves sandwiches and other quick takeaway lunches.

We stumpled upon this place quite acceidentaly as we had lost the way to Champs Elysee. We saw the Eclairs from behind the shop window and decided to call in for a takeaway and I have to say it was the best decision. It was the best Eclair I have ever tasted, dark choclate covered with gold coated nuts...Pure Patissier... More

Having been before this was one of the highlights of the trip and something we made sure we visited more than once. The first day we went we were unsure whether you could eat your coffee and cakes outside in the lovely seating area- no this is reserved for the high paying champagne drinkers - to eat coffee and cake... We stopped outside here whilst waiting to change route on the L'open Tour bus and happened across it...and I'm so glad we did. We popped in to get takeaway cafe and croissant. And both were simply wonderful. A lovely young lady with blonde hair and glasses served me (Friday 14th March) and was very polite and helpful, translating my poor... More

Shop is very impressive but the breakfast we had was terrible order was incorrect and the croissants and pain au chocolat must have been days old and served without any kind of jam or preseve ,much better to be had over the road at cafe Madeleine

Waiters were rude, one told us they're closing in an hour but we can come in, after sitting another waiter came and told us that the kitchen is closed, and that they're closing in 15 mins! Not to mention the cold food area with a pig's leg at the entrance. I found it disgusting. Laduree's staff, atmosphere and macaroons are... More

This was recommended by a friend to visit for some yum treats. We ended up eating a snack at the outdoor cafe: Hot chocolate delist, thick 2 cakes which were little art works Also bought - madeleines, lavender honey, chocolate, biscuits to bring back to oz. Service was slow but I didn't care as I was looking at all the... More

I highly recommend Fauchon's packaged and fresh products available in their store, but you may want to skip their outdoor café. One afternoon, after shopping, we thought it would be fun to sit outside under the pink umbrellas and have a glass of champagne. We waited in line for a long time to be seated. We could see that several... More
