This is one of the best shows we have ever attended. The acrobatics and comedy far outshone the nudity. Although the show was great, the venue was packed and the seats and tables were too close to each other which made it uncomfortable. They serve you a bottle of sparkling wine as part of the ticket price, however the wine... More

We basically went just to say we saw it. It was an easy walk from Sacre Coeur and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood of Montmartre. We looked up prices for shows and meals as well as reviews before going and knew it wasn't something we wanted to spend money on. If it's something you're really into, then hey, maybe you... More

I think it is better to go here at night so you can see and feel the hustle and bustle and the atmosphere. We didn't attend a performance here but just ventured out here on the metro to experience the feel of the area and it was good experience

The district is ok but le Moulin Rouge is so nice that you must visit this place. The show is ok nothing special but the history makes it all.

I just want everyone who reads this to know, that we've seen some great shows and some average shows around the world. We've seen a water puppet play in Ha Noi, Circ de Soleil shows in Las Vegas and broadway shows from Manhattan etc. We had no expectations when we booked this show and the prevailing reason for even watching... If your anything like me when you sit and imagine the history of this place as you sip your champagne and watch the show you will be in awe of your surroundings. Fantastic is how I would describe it.

We heard wonderful things about the Moulin Rouge show but weren't quite sure what to expect. We purchased our tickets the day before and were told to arrive an hour before which we found odd, but I'm glad we heeded the advice. We arrived about 45 minutes before and the line was already about 1/2 a block long. It eventually... More

The thing that struck me most was the extreme costumes and the lighting effects that are done exquisitely. From start to finish, the show is an entertaining segment of true Parisian culture. The food was done well and ordered in advance along with our tickets provided a very nice evening of entertainment while in Paris. Interspersed into the show was... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
