We were there şn May 2015. The show was great. We get the tickets from the internet with a champagne. Our show started at 23:00 and we get the very long line at 22:40. At first we tought something was wrong because the line was very very long to enter the Moulin Rouge but we were in in 20 minutes.... More

We barely got tickets to the last show on a Thursday. All other shows were sold out. We bought tickets in advance and were surprised to have to still stand in a line two blocks long (literally). Once the line got moving it was too long before we were in the theater. We purchased vip tickets that came with a... More

A waste of time we will never get back, especially considering only 8 days in Paris. Wow! It was so awful! Considering the lineage and brand name we were expecting something better than a cheesy, low rent, tier 3 vegas hotel show. Read the reviews and skip this "attraction". Or, go...and wait in line on the sidewalk about 1,000+ deep... More

Paris is famous for its cabarets It’s a place to enjoy it which was founded in 1889. There are lot of shows being conducted everyday and Phython dance is there speciality. Must say its neatly choreographed each and every show was well crafted and gives the feeling of wow. One thing one need to stand in huge and long line... More

Cabaret and Vaudville is a priceless gem of the past. One that Moulin Rouge keeps alive for visitors. The dancing, comedy and singing were not broadway, but they were very good. The packaging, and feel of the experience is what you pay for though. Me and the wife had a raucous time and the audience was awesome, not a sit... More

My boyfriend and I wanted the full Paris vacation and bought tickets for the Moulin Rouge. Our tickets included dinner which was delicious. I am a huge foodie and truly loved the experience. The show is deliciously tacky but enjoyable. It is just one of those things you have to see.

We pre booked tickets to the 9pm showing of the Moulin Rouge (without upfront drinks). We arrived with over half an hour to spare before the show began and were told that a waiter would come and take our order. 1 hour later and 5 times after having chased the waiting staff we eventually got served a severely overpriced bottle... It was my wife's dream to attend the Moulin Rouge so we decided to attend as part of our honeymoon. Initially, I was sceptical, but was quickly won over by the venue, atmosphere and fantastic show. Although it isn't cheap, because it is so popular, it has to be visited when in Paris.

I have to say the food was fabulous the waiters very attentive I really enjoyed the show although have to say the guest acts were better than the Moulin dancers on saying this it did feel very surreal.and if you watched this in Blackpool might feel disappointed but only the Parisians can do this and it be enjoyable

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
