What an amazing experience. I genuinely do not know what show the people who have made negative comments went to see as my husband and I booked the dinner and show (through Viator) and it was one of the best shows you could hope to see. The women & men are stunning and perform some amazing routines, the speciality acts... More

Bought the "no drink" package on-line assuming that we would order a bottle of champagne that we preferred once we got there. Never happened. Well...doing this, seats you in the rarefied air of the outermost reaches of the showroom. Although we tried the "tip" thing to no avail, due to the fact that all the great "down front" seats are... After a long day in our internal meetings we had an out of the world experience in enjoying the performance at Moulin Rouge. I would call it as a great display of skill and talent. It began with the customary bottle of wines and champagnes without which an evening in Paris is incomplete. Lo,,,,it was a breath taking performance of... More

Went to the moulin rouge with my wife to the "ferrie show", if you're going here expecting a Broadway/west end type show then you'll come away disappointed. The show is still entertaining though. We booked the 9pm VIP show and got seated with champagne at around 8:20pm. I think it's a must see if you're visiting Paris if only to... More

Want some nightlife? Visit the Moulin Rouge for a bawdy show. See the Can-Can. The nighborhood can be questionable at night. Be careful but you should enjoy this part of Parisian life.

I have heard it is difficult to get tickets- if you can, definitely do it. It is pricey, but worth it. It is a crowded venue, however, we got dinner and it was not too overly crowded. The show was great- brought teenagers (18 and 17) and it was very appropriate and very entertaining. Once in a lifetime experience.

The show was great, the table were a bit tight and the food was very good. The other couples at the table were fun. Overall a great experience.

Did not know what to expect before we went in. Massive queues to go in but quickly dispersed. Amazing show, well worth every penny. We had champagne and were right at the front. Acrobats, comedy and an atmosphere second to none. A must if you are visiting Paris. Probably better for a couple.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
