We went to see this last Sunday 28th June 2009. Paid over €200 for 2 tickets and were expecting a world class show. Firstly we were sat with 2 other couples at a table only big enough for 4. We were side on to the stage (most tables are sited this way). It was very uncomfortable. As soon as the... more

I should have read all the reviews saying how awful it is before watching the show because they are correct. If not for the champagne, I would have given this show a rating of zero. I've seen my share of shows from Broadway to Vegas, and I can tell you, this one is a waste of your money! The dancers,... more

I carefully read all the good and bad reviews on this site before I booked my tickets for the Moulin Rouge. I convinced myseow, lf that the negative reviews came from 'show snobs', people who didn't attend the revue in the right spirit and who expected too much. I booked the 11pm show and turned up early in order to... more

There are two shows every night: at 21:00 (9 pm) and 23:00 (11 pm). If you attend the earlier show, you may choose to have dinner at the theater. I got my ticket from Viator (at the time, slightly cheaper than the Moulin Rouge website) - show-only since I'm a vegetarian and the dinner menu is definitely not vegetarian-friendly. The... more

Clearly, this show is either loved or hated. I think those who don't like the show go for the wrong reasons. This will never be the greatest cabaret you'll see in your life although it will probably be the most expensive. But it should be on everyones list of 'things to do before I die'. To see Moulin Rouge in... more

WOW this is bad. We like French Cheese, but not the kind they serve here! If you're looking for a really good cabaret show, this isn't it. It's fun and very campy, and there are lots of boobies, but all the music is pre-recorded, the lip synching is pretty bad, and the story line is bizarre and nonsensical. My wife... more

Please be aware that if you are looking for a quality evening of entertainment in Paris this is not the way to go. The food was OK but the tables were rammed and it did not in anyway feel worth the price. Then the singing starts with your meal and you are transported into Euro-vision song contest Hell. It doesn't... more

Like many, I read the various reviews about the Moulin Rouge, and contemplated whether it was worth the money (which, wich exchange rate is about $250 USD for two show-only tickets). We decided to go for it, and I have to say that we're really glad that we did. The show was truly enjoyable, but it's also the atmosphere of... more

This type of show is not for everyone, the price of tickets is pretty high. I really love seeing all the gaudy costumes and craziness of the show. The performers aren't the most talented entertainers, but they are fun to watch if you can admire the spectacle of it. I thought the less upscale, plush, old fashioned charm of the... more

Before we left for our trip to Paris and several other countries, I did some research on some of the places that I wanted to visit--Moulin Rouge or another "burlesque" show like it. Although it was a bit expensive--they all were--we were pleasantly surprised. We bought our tickets the afternoon at our hotel concierge for the 11 pm show--no dinner.... more
