Maybe a little cheesy, but what trip to Paris is complete without a trip to The Moulin Rouge? Take the champagne option when booking, well worth the extra 10 euros.

Had heard a lot about it... but to experience it is something else. The stage is huge and acts are amazing. Do not think of it as an topless dance joint. It was out and out an artful performance. Good french wine and food is really nice too.

A good night of entertainment, and a lovely interior setting the stage to this decadent night life. It was expensive, (even without dinner preference) but we thoroughly enjoyed our table, even though we were packed in. Saw the 7pm show, and found the 11pm show queuing out side for extremely long wait. Champagne was disappointing!

We went to moulin as a couple and took the champagne ticket for the late night show. Our seats were amazing right near the front. The cast were brilliant and the costumes were out of this world. One of the numbers is a bit old fashioned -80s style. Everything else was classic and elegant. The venue itself was stunning and... More

wasn't really sure what to expect, and tried not to have too great an expectation as it seemed like quite a cliche tourist thing to do. however, we were all mind blown. there were definitely acts that were better than others, but some were just jaw dropping. the skaters brought goosebumps and tears to my eyes. we didn't realise how... Our last night in Paris we booked (in advance) dinner and the show at the Moulin Rouge. I would recommend getting the full dinner and show package and arrive early as your seating will be better (you are packed in like sardines by the time the show starts!) The food was absolutely delicious, as was the champagne and the cabaret... More

great show: magnifique costumes and stage design, unbeliviable acrobatic performances. Definatelly worth to see it one time. The table organisation is "first come-first served", so you need to be there at least 1:30h earlier. They don't serve drinks during the show, so if you have the ticket without diner, keep in mind that you won't get anything. You can take... More

You should come early to get a good seat. The costumes are great, the music is also nice, some acrobatic tricks were amazing, BUT: the dances are too badly rehearsed, the dancers seem to be unprofessional. I've seen better dances, definitely. I will not go there again. Too much fuss about nothing. And - we had to pay for the... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
