The Comédie-Française ou Théâtre-Français, is a French cultural and mythical institution founded in 1680 and located next to the Palais Royal since 1799. It is a public establishment and has a troupe of permanent actors. Molière is considered the theater icon. The chair where he started his death throes can be seen at the end of the Galeries des Bustes.... More

My Favourite theatre in Paris, undoubtedly the most beautiful, though it passing the centuries, it remains the same, awesome and beautiful. Found La Comedie Francaise by accident, while being as usual lost while walking around Paris. Very beautiful building with so much history. Went into their shop and found the most kind ladies I encountered in Paris. The stores have great and fine things to buy, they wrapped beautifully yall our purchases. A treat to be just inside.
