Grand, elegant, selective and expensive - but wonderful - especially the food hall where you can find fabulous produce from all over the world. Great place to buy jams, tea, biscuits, chocolates etc as presents. Every department is selective in what they have and all worth a visit - great decor too AND they have a branch of the Rose... More

Stopped into this amazing store after not going there for many years. Wonderful selection of goods, attractively displayed. Loved the shoes, the hats, the nylons! An obligatory stop for all fashionistas visiting Paris.

This spacious department store is filled with global luxury brands as well as some smaller emerging French designers. The staff is quite friendly. The food hall is simply amazing and a great place to pick up presents for friends back home. The department store is quite expensive, but if you're going to splurge I much prefer it to the insanely... More

This is not Lafayette or Printemps. This is a very elegant place, with fewer items, but selected and expensive. Dress well to visit there. The atmosphere is quite, not millions of people like in other department stores. Great cafe also. Everything there is SO French, So European. But don't be intimidated. They are corteous ( never forget to start with... More

was disappointed that la grande epicerie did not have the three kilogramme bulk valrhona cocoa powder in stock (at all, and the cocoa powder seemed indecently expensive) but there are so many things there still and an awesome restaurant upstairs, la table i bought bordier butter from la grande epicerie, and angelina's hot chocolate (the tinned cocoa), as well as... Lots and lots of great designers in one store. Great place to shop if you do not want to venture further to Blvd. Haussman to do your shopping.

Best grand magazin in Paris. It offers all the brands and items you are looking for with a great service and you feel as if it is empty. A great option for those who can't deal with the big crowds that can be quite common at Galleries Lafayettes and Printemps.

If you have to choose one, skip the Galeries Lafayette and go here instead. Much more grand, much better range of gifts for anyone and everyone you might possibly want to buy for, fabulous interior, very attentive staff who offered gift wrapping for each thing we bought, fabulous dislays at Christmas time. Get out your spending money and spend a... More
