When you're in Paris, take your own sweet time to reach this unique patisserie and taste their amazing pieces of Art. You're going to be next the beautiful Jardins du Luxembourg... Don't miss the unique experience of eating a masterpiece in matter of patisserie staring at the marvelous flowers.

I am an ice cream fanatic, and this famous restaurant is as good as it gets for ice cream desserts and other delicacies. I had never had a Coupe Opera before (caramel and choclate ice cream with chunks of Opera patisserie and chantilly on top. If there was death by ice cream, this would be it. And only 7 euros.... I didn't find Dalloyau on my own. My French better half, who grew up in Paris, loves Dalloyau. Dalloyau has great desserts. I would recommend the large macaron if you want a nice afternoon snack. The caramel macaron is swoon-worthy. There is also another little cake (I'm sorry, I cannot remember the proper name, but I'll describe it), that is... More

This restaurant is across the street from Luxembourg Gardens. It's not on the tourist track and knew of it only because I went with friends who are Parisian. The food is not grand but really very good. The desserts, on the other hand, were outstanding. It is really a dessert place with a nice kitchen. We went for lunch and,... More

Oh my goodness ... the Best Macaroons ever!! Not only did our mouths water from all the beautiful and tempting desserts, but they also offer many pasta salads and sandwiches. Everything was ultra fresh and wonderful! We even bought many souvinirs to take home, including spices. Highly recommend this!!

The place exceeded our expectations. We have heard about Pierre Herme but of course there are others. One of them is Dalloyau. We could not resist when we saw the little store in Galleries Lafayette. Definitely one the best sweets you will try anywhere!!!

The Luxembourg park is right across the street, and I think this bakery provides excellent source of delicious dessert pastries and beverage to enjoy in the park. The bakery itself was good,(great pastries!) but it was better because enjoy the food at the beautiful park and feel Paris.

Across the street from Jardin du Luxembourg. Great place to sit and sip wine and enjoy a croissont/chocolate croissont or macaron.

I always take out-of-town friends to Dalloyau. Winter or summer, you have got to try their hot chocolate. It will stop your heart. The café seating above the bakery makes you feel like your on a Wedgwood movie set. And in the summer there's outdoor seating. The service is superb and the large macaroons are totally and completely worth the... More

We keep coming back to this fantastic patisserie (first floor) and tea room (second floor) close the gates of Jardin de Luxembourg every time when in Paris - sometimes to take away some superb delicacies for a lunch in the park, another time to enjoy a petit dejeuner or lunch of superior quality, or afternoon tea or coffee with their... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
