Oh my goodness ... the Best Macaroons ever!! Not only did our mouths water from all the beautiful and tempting desserts, but they also offer many pasta salads and sandwiches. Everything was ultra fresh and wonderful! We even bought many souvinirs to take home, including spices. Highly recommend this!!

The place exceeded our expectations. We have heard about Pierre Herme but of course there are others. One of them is Dalloyau. We could not resist when we saw the little store in Galleries Lafayette. Definitely one the best sweets you will try anywhere!!!

The Luxembourg park is right across the street, and I think this bakery provides excellent source of delicious dessert pastries and beverage to enjoy in the park. The bakery itself was good,(great pastries!) but it was better because enjoy the food at the beautiful park and feel Paris.

Across the street from Jardin du Luxembourg. Great place to sit and sip wine and enjoy a croissont/chocolate croissont or macaron.

I always take out-of-town friends to Dalloyau. Winter or summer, you have got to try their hot chocolate. It will stop your heart. The café seating above the bakery makes you feel like your on a Wedgwood movie set. And in the summer there's outdoor seating. The service is superb and the large macaroons are totally and completely worth the... More

We keep coming back to this fantastic patisserie (first floor) and tea room (second floor) close the gates of Jardin de Luxembourg every time when in Paris - sometimes to take away some superb delicacies for a lunch in the park, another time to enjoy a petit dejeuner or lunch of superior quality, or afternoon tea or coffee with their... I've heard so much about Dalloyau and made sure that I get to see the it for myself. I wasn't disappointed, there were so many to choose from. The store around Luxembourg garden was smaller but friendlier. I was greeted by the cashier then the two ladies behind the counter were really patient as I browse around until buying a... More

Went for lunch. Prix fixe is usually of good quality, simple but well prepared with fresh ingredients. Pastries as good as ever.

Dalloyau is a beautiful patisserie and tea room that we stumbled across back in 2010, when we returned to Paris in 2011 I was determined to return for a second slice of heaven! It is tucked neatly beside the Luxembourg gardens and is a great place to stop for a coffee/tea and of course cake! I have tried the chequerboard... More

We had only a day and a half in Paris before our return to London and wanted to find a bakery to get some of the famous Parisian baked goods before we left. We had been walking around our favorite garden - Luxembourg - and was walking back to our hotel when we came across the Dalloyau. The window dressings... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
