Everybody is rushing to taste Bertillon ice cream. When we tried Bertillon and Amorino several times, we decided that Amorino is even better than the famous Bertillon. Staying at the Montparnasse area, we used to have our gelato at Amorino situated at the corner of Gaite and Edgar Quinet. We also tried it at the Gallery Lafayette at Chaussée d'Antin.... More

Fantastic ice cream! A bit pricy, but it is all worth it.. And when you are sitting in the middle of Paris and enjoying an icecream I guess it is OK to pay an extra couple of euros for it..

Berthillon has delightful ice creams and sorbets. I paired my orange sorbet with Grand Marnier, my friend paired his chocolate ice cream with whiskey. Add a Kir Royale and you will have a great treat after seeing Notre Dame.

Off the beaten path, but we'll worth the trek. This is hands down one of the best ice creams I have ever had. Cute shop, no seating....pick up and walk around the cool shops in the neighborhood. You will also find their ice cream at a number of the bistros in the area.

My spouse and I stopped here for a late afternoon treat. My wife had a Cafe au Lait and a tartlet and I enjoyed a chestnut coupe double. I wish I had taken a picture that I could share. We had gone here several years ago and looked forward to a return visit. The entire place is a delight. Appearance,... More

Went religiously searching first this after hearing so much about it and it was such a triumph to find it! The ice cream (sorbets really) are nice, heaps of flavour and most importantly service was impeccable. The staff were so friendly, you'll leave happy!

The Berthillon icecream was incredible! Definitely worth a visit. The afternoon I went there was no queue but I would have happily waited, the taste is well worth it.

I spent a year studying in Paris 30+ years ago. Back then Berthillon was a place I took all the folks that came to visit me while I was there. Now 30 years later it still holds the same allure for me. I guess because it hasn't changed all that much, which is a good thing. It evokes wonderful memories... More

We always stop off at Berthillon when in Paris with the children and today was no exception BUT we arrived to find it closed, with a notice saying that it will reopen on 5 November. Very disappointed faces all round. Just wanted to make sure that others are forewarned!

Well. I will be short. It is a must. Came across it randomly not realising it's fame. It is the best ice-cream I have ever tried.
