This department store is incredible. You would be hard pressed to think of anything they do not have here. The food section is so beautiful, plenty of options for a meal or beautiful cakes and chocolates to take home with you.

The Galeries Lafayette is worth a visit to see the architecture and decorative art. Otherwise it is similar to the department stores in other major world-class cities. Perhaps there is also something there for retailers to learn. Otherwise there are the same brands of merchandise that we see in other big cities.

I loved the Galeries Lafayette. It is a huge shopping mall with every store you could possibly ask for.

My daughter and I were seeking a high end pair of sunglasses to be her bday present. The sales lady down stairs, as we were handing her a pair of glasses worth €175 to ring up for us, told us that if we wanted to see a larger women's selection before making a choice there were more upstairs to the... I just saw Catherine M.'s review of Galleries Lafayette and its Chanel boutique on Trip Advisor and have to concur completely with her review. I had the exact same experience today. I was able to purchase precisely what I was seeking and even with US duty added it will be a better price than having purchased it in the US... More

I bad a such bad shopping experience ever. When I walked into the mall, I was stunning by the amount of people. I went to the Chanel boutique, and had to get on line. I waited about 20 minutes to get into it. I don't think I was shopping for the luxury, but like a bargain. The sales associates in... More

I loved the fact that the shopping centre had almost everything in, from Louis Vuitton to Zara - the place was rammed with stores and the roof is absolutely beautiful. Well worth a trip if you love Paris - try and avoid a Saturday if you can as the place was ridiculously busy!

this place is gorgeous, very price, the best time to shop is in January and June. everything is on sale, the only thing is you have to be very careful. If you looking for clothes, shoes, you better to buy in USA, it will cost you 1/3, same brand, there are some items that are not available anywhere in world... More

The Galeries Lafayette is a must visit store for anyone coming to Paris. This is the harrods, Saks 5th Avenue, Selfridges, etc of Paris. Packed with everything you could need to satisfy your shopping desires, the Galeries Lafayette is a mecca to shopaholics seeking luxury items as well as those seeking other retail items.

Lafayette is brilliant, especially in the sales! My favourite part is the restaurant on the top floor. There's so much food to choose from and if you're lucky you can get a table with a view of the Eiffel tower. Once you've eaten, have a look at the tourist gifts and then go up on to the roof to get... More
