This large park in the 15th Arrondissement has both an intricately designed formal section as well as a more relaxed informal section, both filled with a beautiful collection of flowers and plants.

A place to escape - and take a balloon ride

We discovered this park by heading for the Ballon de Paris, which we didn't know about until we saw it in the air. The park had a lot of youngsters of all ages in it, many seemed to be with school groups and they were having a great time. The balloon is fantastic and I will review it elsewhere if... More

This is a large park with a lot of potential. But the city doesn't seem to have the budget or to be interested in designing an attractive space and maintaining it properly. Several areas are damaged or missing around the canal and several water system are ou of order. It is not a tourist destination. It is more appropriate for... More

The park is a great refuge for adults and kids. The little ones particularly enjoy to run through the water fountains. The hot air balloon is a nice touch and gives the park its individuality.

Javel Metro or RER stations are 5min walk from it... The park itself is nothing special... But it is the Air baloon with which you can fly that is the important here. The baloon is huge... and nice, and exciting, and not very expensive... BUT, they are often closed down due to wind. I would advise you check their website... More

This park together with its balloon ride is conveniently located on the left bank of the Seine and only a short stroll from the Eiffel Tower. While the ride will cost the park facilities are free. There are wide open spaces to either relax or for the more active take some exercise. Certainly great for those with children.

This park is amazing if you're with children. They have play structures, pristine bathrooms and a hot air balloon ride that is reasonably priced and no wait- with an excellent view of Paris. They also have a very cute café with wonderful treats.

My sister, niece and I visited paris the end of July. We were staying near the Parc Andre-Citroën and saw the hot air balloon while riding the train to Versailles. "Let's go on a hot air balloon ride" we said. "Pour quoi pas?" Why not? Well, sister is afraid of heights. Nevertheless we talked her into it. For 12€ you... More

We came one day and the balloon wasn't operating, but we had been so impressed by how it looked that we came back the next day. Wow, what a view and it is such good value as well. 150 metres in the air, the ride lasts about 15 minutes and you see so much. The park itself seemed nice as... More

On returning to the ship, Rich, Barb and us had lunch and then went out walking on our own visiting the Parc Andre Citroen and riding up 400+ feet in a helium balloon over the city = WOW what great pictures! Only down side to the balloon ride was that Tom does not like heights and thinks there is still... More

A 35 acres park in the 15th arrondissement on the left bank ? whoopee!! Considering its located on a crucial waterfront site,it doesn't seem to interact with the residential neighbourhoods. The one feature that generates any sustained activity.... an array of fountains spurting from a flat, paved surface, had a sign warning children not to play there. It lacks cohesion,in as far,as to...
