I went last April. I saw both the Cathedral and went up the tower. Sure the lines were very long but remember your already their.......have a conversation with the people around you.....watch the highly entertaining street performers....you will not regret the trip up the tower!!! more

I went in July, on a Thursday at about 2pm, there were lots of tourists. I only went in the church, which has free entry, because the queue to climb to the top was very long. Make sure you get the audio guide, so you know what you're looking at. more

If you can make this your first stop, do! because you get the best view in Paris from the top and it will really help you get your bearings more

You don’t need to spend a huge amount of time at this attraction, but it is a must see if you are in Paris. The architecture, stain glass and size are overwhelming. more

We visited here on a weekday just after lunchtime and stood in a huge line which actually moved along quite well. The strange smell of urine (or some shrub that gives off a similar smell perhaps, but I doubt it) permeated the air in the heat which was not pleasant.
