Great views of the city, including the Eiffel Tower in the distance, very long ques to get up, and again when up there to get up the tower! Lovely though.

I am so so pleased that I decided to visit Notre Dame with my family, it is a truly beautiful cathedral. The architecture is stunning, you could spend hours just studying the outside, my children are aged 8 and 6, I was worried about hem being noisy but the atmosphere inside promoted them to be quiet so they only whispered... Such an incredibly beautiful building. And going through there during Easter Sunday mass was quite the experience! The rise windows are stunning. Didn't make it up the tower today as the lines to get into the cathedral were so long but next time, absolutely !

The teenager and the 11 year old enjoyed this old place. With many references in cartoons, movies, and word of mouth this place was great to see in person. We had to be very quiet which made it hard to speak about what we were seeing and reading. Excellent stop on the tour of Paris. Best souvenirs across the street.

The Notre Dame is situated on an island in the River Seine, which makes it's location special. There are other lovely cathedrals in Europe and the UK but Notre Dame has its own history and stories, It is well worth a visit at day and night time. We were lucky enough to visit on Palm Sunday when a service was... More

Amazing Church! The admissions to get into the church was free when I was there :) and I was amazed at the views inside. The view from the top of the cathedral is breathtaking although you will have to climb many many stares to get to the top. There is a small fee to climb to the top of the... More

Awe inspiring cathedral. The lines (although moving) are unending so unless you get there early or are able to stand in line for quite awhile, you'll have to be content with the exterior.

It was impossible for me to stand in the very long queue. I will make another trip but not on a holiday weekend like this... I suspect there's always a long queue but I'd surely get inside a lot quicker if it's not Easter weekend. I enjoyed just looking at the details and hearing some history about the cathedral. Architecture... More

If you're in Paris in early July, I would recommend coming along to the International Mass in Notre Dame on Sunday, 6 July at 11.30am, when the Schola Cantorum boys choir of St Peter's Cathedral Belfast will be singing. Excellent choir with a growing reputation.

Probably my least favourite sight in Paris, worth a visit but fairly boring unless you're really into religious buildings. I found sacre coeur far more impressive.
