Long security line but it moves along. Worth the wait. Once inside you will have all the time you want.

There aren't explainations or good lighting to view the interior with regard to payment of adimission.

We were able to climb all the way to the top of the Notre Dame Cathedral and we were able to see the most amazing things all over Paris. This was a tremendous experience!!!

Long long line ups. Ugly tiered stands in the square in front of the church to hold tour groups I expect. Church is very dark although the stain glass windows are amazing. This was our second visit. This time, since we had the museum pass we did the towers as well. All 422 spiraling steps to arguably the best view of Paris. We did this on our last day in the city and the view will stay with me for the rest of my life.

What a great place to visit! Today was rainy so a good day to explore Notre Dame. Entry is free!! The cathedral itself is simply stunning. Massive ceilings and great artworks.

I can't add too much to what you will read in others' reviews, but my advice is to avoid the giant bleachers in front of the facade (unless you're really into gazing for a long time at all the marvelous detail) and to go inside and climb the stairs instead.
