Beautiful Cathedral, beautiful surroundings. The queue was quick and entrance is free. You are able to take photos. The building is lit up and looks fantastic at night. A must for visiting.

Think my standards may be too high after seeing the sagrada familia. It's a beautiful building, free to look inside the main building which is great. Not too busy at this time of year... But was expecting something a little more stunning.

From the intricate facade, to the rose windows, to the pieta and choir walls, there is so much to see at Notre Dame. This Cathedral is truly spectacular - inside and outside. We hired audioguides (£5) which provided an explanation and background for different parts of the Cathedral. Go early to avoid long lines and crowds in the church. You... More

rather austere interior and left me a bit cold, however there are interesting displays and as it is free you might as well look in in passing.

Long line in front but is going pretty fast. Free entrance. There is also a musseum inside, with churchstuff, like, priests robes and stuff like that. Maybe around 1 hour to see the Cathedral. You can also go up the stair in the 2 towers. But we didn't. There was another line for that and we choose not to. A... More

We ended up waiting three days before going in because it was raining and the line had gotten smaller. Upon entering I was a bit taken aback. There are brightly lit-up machines that resemble casino slots for tourists to get coin souvenirs out of lining the back of it, the interior is quite dark, the tourists can be fairly obnoxious... a beautiful Cathedral inside and out. The long line moves quite quickly but worth the wait. Make sure to walk all around the outside of the church as you get a great shot from the back where the small bridge is that has thousands of locks locked to the bridge.

We visited the Cathedral one morning. The sheer scale of it is amazing. Being under 25 most of the tourist attractions in Paris were free to us if we showed a valid passport and this was one of them. We did not have to wait long to get into the Cathedral and inside we made a donation and were able... More
