Don't be scared because of a long line to enter to the Notre Dame Cathedral. It goes very fast.In the meantime you may admire the outside beauty of this Cathedral. Inside were many people but no one disturbed others. Sightseeing in silence is required. You may take photos but without flash. But you may also sit and focus on you.... More

Just absolutely astounding in all respects. A stunning gothic masterpiece and amazingly huge as are many Paris attractions. Line looked huge but a kind fellow traveler told us it would move fast and indeed it did. No cost and only sad we were a few minutes too late to climb to the top of the tower as well. A do... More

Arrived in time to witness an evening service conducted by the Nuns. The decorated ceiling is not to be missed but the No Photography rule is ignored by a lot of people so this is a treasure I am glad to have seen before it is lost for ever.

This cathedral ranks as on of the best. The architecture is extremely fascinating and very worthy of a photo shoot. If in Paris do not miss it as it is very accessible A hop on hop off bus is very convenient for this type of visit.

The outside of the church is impressive but the inside even more so. Take the time to go in. There is no charge but do light a candle inside and make a donation. The lineup was long. It stretched right across the open courtyard in front the the cathedral but it only took about 10 minutes to get inside. The... More

Of course, this place is one you must see while you are in Paris. The outside is just as majestic as the inside, though the inside is dark. Architectually, this is an amazing church.

This was spectacular to behold. The architecture was amazing. I went when there was a service going on which was beautiful to behold, there was also confession going on in one of the side rooms, lots of candles were lit and there were lots of tourists like myself taking photos. The architecture is amazing to behold and you would just... More

The church has to be admired from both inside and outside. When inside please respect the religious place. many people busy walk here and there while the service was in progress. Please keep quiet and observe the silence.

If time is short you might not want to line up to see the inside, although the line moved pretty fast when we were there so we got in fairly quickly. You can walk round the outside for free and for me that was almost more interesting than the inside (which is quite dark) as the architecture is so interesting.... More
