We were met by Dave who was our delightful guide from Canada. The kids (and my husband and I) were exhausted after 5 days at Disneyland and an early start and I was worried how Dave might handle the challenge of engaging two overtired kids in art. But Dave was brilliant and my girls (5,7) were captivated the entire time.... More

We booked our tours online while in Paris, very easy to do. Communication around meeting place, contact etc very clear and easy. Had the good fortune to have Pamela as a guide for both our tours. Must admit we did not have much prior knowledge about Rodin, however the tour changed that! Pamela was a wealth of information, and made... More

We (both the adults and the children) had a wonderful time on the Paris Muse Lourvre Family Tour. Our guide (Karen) was passionate, intelligent, a wealth of knowledge and great with children (even when they were trying to get her hair behind her ears!). I've been to the Louvre before (the rest of the family had not) and I must... More

With little time and my friends first time to Paris I opted to go with Paris Muse so that we could see the highlights of the Louvre. Our guide was wonderful and whisked us away in and out of the crowds and had such knowledge I could have spent the whole day with her. It is well worth the price... More

We had been reluctant at first to visit the Louvre with our kids, ages 10 and 7. We were wary of long lines and the sheer immensity of the museum. But after a friend recommended the Paris Muse private tour geared towards children we decided to give it a try. And though the tour was pricey, it was well worth... More

We loved our walking tour of the Notre Dame area. The guide made our tour amazing. She was genuine, friendly and interesting. She pitched the level appropriately to my 10 year old niece but it wasn't juvenile. We adults were fascinated. She was attentive to our needs and didn't rigidly keep to the script. A little advisory - we got... More

Knowledgeable guides with advanced degrees who can significantly increase knowledge for adults and their appreciation. They greatly enhance the experience and are worth every penny. They are not inexpensive but groups are small. Unlike some competitors trips are guaranteed and you can get a full refund if you cancel in advance.

So far the Louvre has been the boys favorite thing in Paris. Not only did it shrink the Louvre into a tween size excursion, but it put the art in a context relevant to their studies in school. My oldest talked about Mesopotamia as we looked at the Babylonian pieces and even busted out art concepts like the 'vanishing point'... More

Coming back to Paris in two years and I signed up for the Notre Dame tour for my teenage daughter. Pamela who guided us before came and gave us yet another fantastic guide on the cathedral. We learned so much and really enjoyed the history. We will definitely try again next time.

The morning of our Louvre Treasure Hunt was rainy and cold. We got to the Louvre to find about 300 people milling around waiting for it to open. Just when we were getting concerned about how the experience was going to play out, Claire appeared and engaged our ten year-old daughter, Charlotte immediately. She began with age-appropriate stories for Charlotte... More
