It was a great idea to get a guided tour of the Louver. Due to the size of this museum it would be extremely time and energy consuming to find the most important exhibits without the help of an expert. The guide was a nice young girl who told us lots of interesting facts and amusing anecdotes about the museum,... More

We did the Eiffel Tower VIP & Seine Champagne Cruise on May 1, shortly after arriving Paris, and it was such a nice way to begin our trip. Although the weather was very wet and rather cold, our guide (I believe her name was Lindsay), made for such an enjoyable visit to the Eiffel Tower. Also, the Seine cruise was... More

We had a wonderful time on this trip to the American Cemetery and the beaches. The lunch was wonderful in a seaside restaurant. The cider farm visit was equally terrific. The guide Felix was great. All in all, a great experience.

"We appreciated the way our tour guide, Xavier, conducted the tour . He was very pleasant and patient. We were only 6 during the tour and able to take advantage of his knowledge."

Definitely worthwhile and the skip the line pass was a miracle since the line to the Eiffel Tower was near 2-3 hours long. Tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable and was actually from Mexico which was very interesting! Would recommend this company to anyone, and it was also easy to find when meeting up!

Michel was excellent - knowledgeable, organized and articulate. He made effective use of our time together and taught me a lot about art history. I would definitely use City Wonders again.

On our family trip to Europe this summer, I experienced 4 tours organized by City Wonders (3 in France and 1 in Italy). They were all excellent. These guys are very well organized and super efficient. The guides were very friendly and well informed themselves. Highly recommended.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
