It's hard to describe. Our guide, Mr. Fitzpatrick, took us on a walk around the Latin Quarter and we learned so much during those three hours. His knowledge was in-depth and relayed in an interesting and informal manner. He offered great conversation on many topics during our walk. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and would highly recommend it. There is... More

We booked a Paris Greeter for our first full day in Paris. He was amazing. He was originally from Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Paris since 1997. He gave us a tour of the Latin Quarter and we saw parts of the city that we would have never seen on our own. He knew every back street and secret... More

We had a wonderful tour with Jean-Claude last weekend. There's no better way to get to know Paris than through the eyes of a resident. We learned so much and saw so many interesting parts of Paris. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Jean-Claude. Thank you, Summer & Todd

The best way to discover and see Paris is with a Paris Greeter. Of course the price was right - free. I enjoyed an educationally rich day with Mr. Joel Le Gall, history buff and Ms. Anne Hoffman, Director of Paris Greeters. I learned so much about Paris walking and discovering the covered markets. Mr. Le Gall had a notebook... More

Thank you so much for the Paris Greeter volunteer Jillian, who kindly took the time to show me and my mother all the wonderful secrets of Paris on 2 June! She had a great knowledge of Parc Monceau, one of her favourite parks in Paris, and really took the time to show us a variety of places around the area.... More

Our greeter and new found friend Jill managed to provide us an experience that could only come from someone who has lived and breathed in Montmartre. Her passionate account of the tragic life of Vincent van Gogh especially was an eye-opener. And not forgetting the moulins, the "secret garden",Le Mur des Je T'aime - Wall of Love.I highly recommend it to... More

We did a tour of Montparnesse with Anne Claire on 26th April. Anne-Claire arranged a VERY easy place to meet her and picked us out straight away. Anne-Claire conducted a wonderful walk and showed us so many different things around Montparnesse, we visited a shopping centre, a cemetery, a food market, a library and just generally wandered around the streets.... Paris Greeters accommodated our request for a tour even though we were a bit late in asking. We had a group of six ladies. Our guide, Jacques, gave us several areas to choose from. Our tour was great. Jacques was gracious, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. He made our afternoon walking tour a real highlight of our trip.... More

Our guide Pierre met us in an area we weren't planning to visit, Luxemburg Gardens, it was nice to see something different. Pierre was a wonderful tour guide and provided lots of historical facts. Just wished the visit would have been a little closer to where we were staying, because we did not go back to the restaurants and shops... More

I had a great walking tour with Morgane. We visited the Bibliotheque Francoise Mitterand while she told me all about it. She showed me one of the many Paris water sites that have been installed for residents. We went across the Seine to the Jardin du Bercy. She explained how this area had been used for wine storage and the... More
