We had an absolute fabulous time with Alain. He could not have done a better job and our time with him was a highlight of our whole holiday. He gave us a wonderful tour that was just perfect in every way. He was kind, funny, interesting and a great host and personality for our French introduction. He made Paris an... More

This organization is great! If you are going to Paris by yourself and would you like see not so touristic places - try to reserve a stroll here. Me and my friends had a wonderfull stroll around Pere Lachaise and our guide was very good. I can only recomend this!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful tour with Jillian at Parc Monceau. These tours are conducted by volunteers. It was one of the true highlights of our trip to Paris. Jillian wove history and information about every day Parisian life into a 2 plus hour walk through the park and adjacent neighborhood. We had all ages...from 8 years old to 50... More

If you want a true cultural experience in Paris, then this wonderful program is for you. It gives you the opportunity to stroll with a Parisian volunteer for up to three hours (sometimes longer), usually in an area of your choice. The volunteer, who is familiar with the area, will give you an introduction to the neighborhood, show you places... More

It's hard to describe. Our guide, Mr. Fitzpatrick, took us on a walk around the Latin Quarter and we learned so much during those three hours. His knowledge was in-depth and relayed in an interesting and informal manner. He offered great conversation on many topics during our walk. I thoroughly enjoyed this event and would highly recommend it. There is... More

We booked a Paris Greeter for our first full day in Paris. He was amazing. He was originally from Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Paris since 1997. He gave us a tour of the Latin Quarter and we saw parts of the city that we would have never seen on our own. He knew every back street and secret... More

We had a wonderful tour with Jean-Claude last weekend. There's no better way to get to know Paris than through the eyes of a resident. We learned so much and saw so many interesting parts of Paris. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Jean-Claude. Thank you, Summer & Todd

The best way to discover and see Paris is with a Paris Greeter. Of course the price was right - free. I enjoyed an educationally rich day with Mr. Joel Le Gall, history buff and Ms. Anne Hoffman, Director of Paris Greeters. I learned so much about Paris walking and discovering the covered markets. Mr. Le Gall had a notebook... More

Thank you so much for the Paris Greeter volunteer Jillian, who kindly took the time to show me and my mother all the wonderful secrets of Paris on 2 June! She had a great knowledge of Parc Monceau, one of her favourite parks in Paris, and really took the time to show us a variety of places around the area.... More

Our greeter and new found friend Jill managed to provide us an experience that could only come from someone who has lived and breathed in Montmartre. Her passionate account of the tragic life of Vincent van Gogh especially was an eye-opener. And not forgetting the moulins, the "secret garden",Le Mur des Je T'aime - Wall of Love.I highly recommend it to... More
