I can't say enough great things about this experience! I took the mille feuille class which was 3 hours. The instruction was amazing and I learned so much. The class size was perfect compared to other baking classes that I have taken elsewhere and the time flew by. The classroom is conveniently located close to a Metro stop and I... More

Our family of four took the baguette class with Chef Guillaume. I was struck by how interest in learning to cook unites the world; our class of nine (including our chef) represented six countries -- how cool is that! The rooom where the class takes place is adorable, the pacing of the class is excellent, the instructor has perfected the... More

Booked the 2-hour "eclair" class with my girlfriend, and was the only man there with seven women in the class ( I admit--I liked the odds). But no worries! Eric was the perfect chef for the class: direct, democratic, and reassuring to those with low or no baking skills The class was a cream puff (along with the eclairs--)!. Eating... More

Wife and I scheduled this cooking class back in May. It was our first class and we had a very enjoyable time. Chef Eric was friendly and very easy going. We took the market tour and tho it was steadily raining Eric took us around and taught us many things about purchasing vegetables and fish. Surprised to learn that not... More

The weather for our Paris trip was looking a bit hit and miss so my husband booked a croissant/pastry workshop at La cuisine Paris. We loved our class with Eric! Fun and very informative. Nice small group and best of all - no previous experience required. Very tasty results!

Our family of 4 (kids 14 and 16) took a class for "Le Croissant and Traditional Breakfast Pastries" in August 2015. Everybody (even sceptics!) LOVED it. Chef Guillaume was very "to-the-point" with clear instructions, entertaining details and a very... French, je-ne-sais-quoi :-)) The timing of the class was excellent, the hands-on was complete and awesome and the finish product... delicious!... More

This is my first trip to Paris, and I knew that it had to include a French food cooking class. And because croissants are just absolutely French, it had to be this class. La Cuisine Paris makes it intimate and wonderfully hands-on, and Chef Frances is entertaining as well as knowledgeable. The tasting after the baking was fun, too, as... More

My daughter and I attended the Croissant and Breakfast Pastry class by Chef Francis and absolutely loved it! Chef Francis was excellent. She has great teaching skills and a charming style that made it a pleasure to learn the art of croissant making. The pastries turned out beautifully and I now have the confidence to bake these at home! I... More

Who knew making baguettes is such a workout! Slapping and slamming the dough around as instructed by excellent chef/baker Eric worked up a sweat and produced yummy baguettes, rolls, and French foccacia. A fun, informative afternoon.

My husband and I did the grand classics class. Four delicious dishes cooked at a pretty fast pace. My only complaint would be that while paper and pencils were set up to take notes of what you were learning, they had to be moved so that you could actually work in the space provided. That's the nature of what we... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
