My husband and I took the French Market cooking class. Can't recommend it enough. Our Alice Waters-trained chef/teacher took us to the Marché Maubert, where we purchased season seasonal produce, fish and cheese (purchases were included in the price of the class). Then she took us through preparing our meal step-by-step. The meal was delicious and the techniques simple enough... More

Merci, a wonderful experience :) My mum and I attended on a weeknight after 2 months in Paris (and were relieved for a bit of an Anglophone-fest after months of 'pardon? Excusez moi?') Not only was the food we made delicious, but we learnt some useful skills (how to reliably separate an egg, how to fold meringue, how to grease... More

I went to Paris with two girl friends last week. A big purpose of our trip was to attend a cooking class at La Cuisine Paris. I wanted to learn to make Pain au Chocolat. My mother is French and I grew up snacking on these delicious treats. We met two other friends at the class. All five of us... More

On a whim I decided to join friends for the class called "Parisian Soiree". We prepared a delicious three course meal in just over two hours. Some of us were skilled cooks and others such as myself, had little or no cooking experience. The chef was informative and patient, the food (and wine) delicious. I would certainly recommend taking a... More

I was warmly greeted by the owner, Jane, and immediately felt at home. The instructor was a chef from Lyon and was knowledgable and easy to understand. I learned quite a few basic cooking tips as well as how to make the three course meal that we prepared and ate! I liked the fact that you could participate as much... More

My boyfriend and I took a macaron making class at La Cuisine and loved it. We not only share a love of food, but also enjoy meeting people from different corners of the world, and this class combined both. Our instructor, Randall, who was thorough and easy to follow, shared anecdotes from his pastry chef life as well some of... More

I just got back from a week in Paris and I did both the French Market Tour and the Bellies on Foot walking tour with La Cuisine Paris. The two classes were by far my favorite things that I did while in Paris, aside from the Velib bike rental program, but that's for another review. My only regret with the... More

I took 7 different classes here and one was more fun than the next. Informative, great fun and DELICIOUS. The staff is incredibly nice, helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I highly, highly recommend this. It is a fantastic alternative to miles of museums and attractions and a memory you will cherish! More

I was in Paris for a visit with family. Though I am an experienced bread baker the perfect croissant eluded my best efforts. I took the croissants class at La Cuisine Paris. Justin, our instructor, was both professional and very personable. He explained the ingredients and processes thoroughly and was extremely patient. The theory of La Cuisine Paris is to... More

My husband and I just return from Paris and took two cooking courses at La Cuisine Paris during our stay. I cannot speak highly enough about the organization and the pleasure we had at both classes (baguettes and bistro dinner classes). From the convenient and well designed internet booking process to the warm welcome when we arrived at the kitchen,... More
