On a whim, my husband and I booked a macarcon baking class at La Cuisine while we were in Paris for our honeymoon. I'm so glad we did. Not only were we greeted with such warmth, the class with Chef Guillame was informative, fun, and resulted in extremely tasty macarons. I only wish we had thought to book another class... More

My sister-in-law gave me a gift certificate to this cooking school to use while we are living in Paris. I'm a good overall cook but mediocre baker and was dubious I could master something as intricate and complex as a good french croissant. Well, I am now a believer. Our teacher Emily was terrific--knowledgeable, competent and able to communicate well.... More

We booked 2 classes during our stay in Paris. The first was "Bellies on Foot" - a walking tour of Les Halles area. We were taken to E Dehillerin cook shop (not to be missed if you are interested in kitchenware), and other food shops. At each of the food shops Karen, our guide, purchased traditional food to take back... More

Our group of seven ladies chose La Cuisine based on reviews, options and location. Non fell short and our recommendation is to stop your search and enroll in one of their classes. Diane was our chef~teacher and a delight. We had to be attentive because she was quick and thorough in her instruction. We chose a vegetarian menu and loved... More

We do not took the cooking class that time; we've experienced anothe program that includes walking throught the "Les Halles" area, and browsing in some very traditional french boulangeries, charcuteries, patisseries, etc., etc.. We tour started nearby the Louvre-Rivoli metro station, and comprehends a not that long walking, but with a lot of useful information. Aside the remarks about the... More

I took a break from my work trip, to take a cooking class at La Cuisine Paris & I can definitely say it was one of the best classes I've ever done - with just two students, it made it very hands on, and meant we could learn more advanced knife skills. I've done classes in Australia, Japan, Thailand, Turkey,... More

We attended the French Market class with the chef Emilie. It was great to learn about local foods in season and she ensured we pick a menu that would work for our group. We made a wonderful duck breast (Margret de Canard), great side dishes and a great, simple pear tarte. The whole staff was very helpful and offered us... More

We had a great time in an intimate class of 6 with Eric teaching a croissant class. He was a great teacher, funny and interactive with the class with an impressive resume. We made a variety of pastries with the same dough and learned a few clever tricks and techniques. A great activity if you have the time in Paris!

I took the croissant class and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tuition was excellent, and the class was very enjoyable. The kitchen set up is great, and really does aim to replicate the home kitchen, so it is possible to come home and try out new skills.
