We did several free walking tours on our trip to Europe, and let me tell you, by the time we got to Paris we'd learned our lesson; like anything in life, you get what you pay for! This tour was worth every penny! We booked the night before we went, but the staff couldn't have been more friendly and responsive... More

Adrian was our guide, (Mom, Dad, Grandmother and 2 boys, 11 &13) and he was a wealth of information. Both our most basic and obscure questions revealed his wealth of information, not only about the food, but the neighborhood, history and just facinating tidbuts here and there. He is also a composer and great violinist, who gave us a mini-performance... More

Sight Seekers Guide Jessica welcomed our family to Paris with an informative and fun walking tour. Her passion for Paris was infectious and we enjoyed the history lesson. The group lunch at Paul's was yummy and gave plenty of time to pick up tips about Paris gems and tips to get the most from our visit.

My family of 4, two sons age 20 and 24 and my husband and I took the secrets of the night tour with Lauren. Lauren was really enjoyable and we really enjoyed hearing the stories and seeing the sights with her. Due to a canceled flight we had to double up on tours and this was our first full day... More

We did the Montmartre walking tour with Lucie last Saturday. Lucie was great fun, very informative and utterly passionate about the area which made the tour that much more entertaining. She showed us the true beauty of the area with some great stories. Great way to learn about the area. Would most definately recommend this tour!

I booked the "Walking along the Seine" tour in order to familiarize myself with the area in which I was staying. What a delightful way to spend half a day in Paris! Our tour guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable. He not only showed us the famous sights along the Seine, he also took us to out of the way places... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
