Nothing Short of Excellent

Hanna was an absolutely brilliant storyteller and full of insight. She made our trip to Montmartre incredibly memorable and we will definitely be back to take more tours with her!

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Paris after meeting for the first time. We decided to do a tour, we weren't trying to be too touristy and this was just the thing. We chose Sight Seeker's Delight and it was just the two of us and Karen. Karen is very knowledgeable and friendly, I'd highly recommend this tour... More

I'm a true parisian girl and recently I had an american friend who came to visit and she booked this tour for the two of us. She really wanted to discover the jewish neighbourhood. It's incredible how Karen knows french history like its second nature, the anecdoctes and fun trivia which are delicious. As a french person, it was a... More

Sight Seekers Delight is a small company in Paris that provides small group walking tours of several neighborhoods and areas of Paris. Sight Seekers provides tours of the Marais, the Pere Lachaise Cemetery, Montmartre and the major attractions along the Seine River. I went on the Pere Lachaise tour with my wife on a Wednesday morning in late October and... More

My friend and I did two tours with the lovely Karen this week- first the Monemartre tour, followed by the food tour around the Latin Quarter. Both were simply fantastic! Karen is so much fun to talk to and so helpful in answering all our queries. We will recommend her tours to anyone visiting Paris!!!

On our trip to Paris in Aug. 2014 we went on a Walking/Food tour with my friend from college Karen... and are we ever so glad we did! Scheduling was easy with Karen's staff. We met Karen at the Metro stop and off we went... She gave us a wonderful intro. to what we'd be doing and gave us a... More

In Paris a few days with friends and wanted to see and enjoy different aspects of the city. With all the famous people buried here we thought it would be really interesting to hear the stories. The tour didnt disappoint. Fun to learn how plots are rented, and if family cant continue the payments you will be relocated. Not to... More

From the first moment of the tour Karen welcomed us with warmth, humour and her unique Parisian insights. We took part in the Paris Along the Seine tour, strolling along at an easy pace to take in all the main sights with Karen's thoughtful and informative commentary. Highly recommended!

This was our third tour with Karen (we did the Seine and Jewish tours on a previous trip). We enjoyed our first 2 so much that we came back for a third. Karen is an excellent storyteller in addition to being incredibly knowledgeable. We got a really good feel for Montmarte and what makes it such a special part of... More

I had only three days in Paris and wanted to see as much as possible. A friend had told me about Karen and I was lucky that she was able to accommodate me at such short notice. Originally I had planned only the Jewish tour but after talking with Karen and telling her what I wanted to highlight during my... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
