Liked Neighborhood and proximity of historic beautiful sites. Able to walk to majority of most beautiful sites in Paris. For example, walked to Notre Dame, Arch of Triumph,Louvre, and a wide choice of cafes and restaurants. What we like most is to eat where the locals eat at reasonable prices. In all cafes the staff were outstanding for their friendliness... More

Karen's tours are a fun and funny alternative to the standard bus tour of Paris. My family and I took the tour of Montmartre and enjoyed the way Karen entertains while giving a host of information, facts, and unique stories. It was personal, filled with humor, and broad enough to keep the interest of the adults as well as jet... More

I have been on many of these tours and recommend them to my friends when they travel to Paris. Loved the tour of the Seine as a way to get oriented to Paris. The Montmartre tour is entertaining and interesting. These tours are more fun and clever than other walking tours I have been on. Owner Karen is great!

Karen and her team are wonderful! We did the Food tour a 2nd time and again had a fabulous time. Karen is so enjoyable to visit with- full of interesting facts and loads of fun and laughs. The following day, we did the Seine tour- the tour was excellent despite it being the rainiest day of our trip. Full of... More

My wife and I have been to Paris twice before and just on weekend trips. We had never taken a guide and therefore knew very little of the rich history and heritage of France besides its fine food, the stores and the people in the streets. Karen and Sight Seekers Delight changed all that for us this time as I... More

Karen and Sight Seekers Delight were a pleasure to work with beginning to end. Their website and descriptions of tours were completely honest and easy to navigate. Their confirmation and reminder emails were incredibly detailed and told us exactly where to be and when. We feel lucky to have gotten Karen as our guide but after getting to know her-... More

Hanna was an absolutely brilliant storyteller and full of insight. She made our trip to Montmartre incredibly memorable and we will definitely be back to take more tours with her!

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Paris after meeting for the first time. We decided to do a tour, we weren't trying to be too touristy and this was just the thing. We chose Sight Seeker's Delight and it was just the two of us and Karen. Karen is very knowledgeable and friendly, I'd highly recommend this tour... More

I'm a true parisian girl and recently I had an american friend who came to visit and she booked this tour for the two of us. She really wanted to discover the jewish neighbourhood. It's incredible how Karen knows french history like its second nature, the anecdoctes and fun trivia which are delicious. As a french person, it was a... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
