I had the pleasure of experiencing my first tour with Sight Seeker's Delight yesterday--the Jewish History Tour of the Marais. I learned a lot of interesting information and stories about the Jewish community in Paris and France as a whole, and in spite of revealing some sobering facts concerning this somewhat somber history (not to mention during a very sensitive... Wow, the new food tour that Karen has put together is amazing. We wanted something a little different and not the usual touristy tour that you can do in Paris and it certainly was different. We were lucky enough to see the real Paris and its people and to interact with them away from the hustle and bustle of the... More

We (2 parents and four children) had less than twelve hours in Paris - and then our flight was delayed. Chris was great – he was fun and was able to relate to all the members of our tired group – adults, teenagers and children alike. Not only was he a fount of information and quirky trivia - he was... We had an extraordinary experience with our tour guide Chris. My wife and I were lucky to have an individual tour of the historical sights of France. Chris took us to places in Paris were no large groups would go.

We took this tour on recommendation of friends and wish to thank Karen, who was obviously quite ill on the day, for an wonderful, interesting, fun and memorable day. We (non Jewish) got a much better understanding of the trials and horrible times that this community have suffered. Karen has a great sense of humor and had us laughing and... More

Our family loved Karen's insider guided tour of Marais. She kept us laughing the whole time while sharing beautiful gardens, hidden synagogues, skip the line entrance to the best falafel restaurant in France. Great fun and educational too! We highly recommend Karen's tour.

We were staying in Montmartre and decided to take a tour to learn more about our area. Angela Lewonczyk was our tour guide and she was AMAZING! There was so much packed into this area of Paris, from history, to religion, to feature films, to my favorite: the artists. If you have seen the film 'Midnight in Paris', going on... More

I took two tours with Angela, one of Montmartre and one of the Latin Quarter. Even though I've lived here for a year, I still learned a lot about the various neighborhoods around Paris! The walks are well paced and fairly easy. Angela is really knowledgeable and personable. Overall, it has enhanced my appreciation of my own city and would... More

Karen's tour of the Jewish Quarter (Marais) was a most enjoyable experience . She impressed me with her entertaining personality while delivering some serious facts about the History of the Jews in France. The beautiful and somewhat hidden passages along the way held some interesting stories too. It was also nice to be able to see the inside of some... More

The first day we arrived in Paris, we did a private "Paris Along the Seine" tour with Hanna. It was a marvelous way to get an overview of the city. Hanna was knowledgeable and animated, and brought the history of Paris to life for us. Later in the week, she even took the time to e-mail us a list of... More
