My daughter, a fan of the less touristy side of places we visit, insisted we come by this flea market at Vanves - and I'm so glad we did. Sprawling, the collection of vendors wraps around the neighborhood, and numbers into the hundreds. The size notwithstanding, it manages to feel small, and many of the vendors sell antique memorabilia that... More

Small enough to only take a couple of hours to browse through. Found some postcards from early 1900's, love to see the same sights from another era and to read the messages in french to loved ones. Also found some old war magazines......all only a euro or two. Fun watching the illegal vendors grab their goods and try to disappear... More

My sister and I spent a pleasant Saturday morning wandering through this outdoor flea market. Lots of "junk" but it was fun to see what other folks were buying. It was an easy Metro ride to the Porte de Vanves stop on Line 13. There were signs to direct us to the nearby market. There was even a nice food... More

Don't go to Clignacort! It's full of pick pockets, crowded and LOTS of overpriced yuck. Vanves is the place where locals shop. Safe, not overwhelmingly large, and you can see everything in less than 2 hrs. :)

I'm reminiscing about how I loved strolling along these booths. Purchased some old postcards, a bracelet and antique mirror. The prices were not outrageous, but similar to what I experience at flea markets in the Chicagoland area. I found some pieces worth their offered price and haggled with a few other vendors. Wishing I was able to shop again this... More

We loved roaming this market. Just watching the "colorful" vendors was a joy. Little pricy, so don't be afraid to negotiate. At the end of the long walk there's a food truck, but the neighborhood has a few restaurants as well.

Loved walking from tent to tent looking at the bargains. I purchased a pair shoes, souvenirs, and some delicious pastry.

Unfortunately it rained the day we visited and many of the stalls were not filled. Still think it would be worth a visit in better weather. Toilet facilities were few. Two only for the whole area and one was not working. The Sunday market in the main shopping street was worth a visit though The whole area is accessible as... More

Interesting Sunday morning visit, unfortunately it rained and not all pitches were taken. There were also several sellers not on the official site which probably means not authorised. Street market also taking place. Area was byzzing

Instead of numerous antique stores like te Puces the Saint Ouen, the flee market near Port de Vanves is a genuine flee-market. Van's parked with their rear end to the sideway and spreading their goods, it almost looks like a car-boot-sale. Here you can find antiques or affordable prices for value. When we visited it was fairly windy and cold... More
