Our experience of market shopping with our teacher and hostess, followed by our participation in her kitchen and consumption of the meal prepared, was only part of what made our time together memorable. We liked the personal consideration given to our diets and the informal exchange of ideas about living in both the USA and France. Time with a local... More

My husband and I throughly enjoyed spending an afternoon learning to make macaroons with Perrine in her wonderful home. Not only did we make great macaroons but we got to spend time with a talented chef in the privacy of her home. My husband and I were on the last day of our 10 day River Cruise down the Seine.... I was so looking forward to this experience on my recent vacation to France and it did not disappoint. It was the best. It was so much fun to shop, cook and eat, but above all, Perrine was a delight. I would do it again, anytime. Merci!!!

Taking this cooking class was a highlight of my trip. I enjoyed hearing the history of Paris markets and shopping in the current markets. Perrine’s pleasurable personality and knowledge was a joy. I highly recommend taking this class.

My husband and I along with 2 friends spent a most enjoyable day with Chef Perrine shopping for our lunch and then going to her apartment to prepare an authentic French lunch. We started at the produce market, then the cheese maker, the bread baker and the butcher to gather all the ingredients for our wonderful lunch. Back to her... More

My daughter and I wanted to experience French food and what better way then to cook it yourself, with a little help of course. The experience was wonderful from beginning to end. It started with a trip to the local open market where we went with Perrine to pick out all the fresh ingredients for our recipes. Then, we returned... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of attending this unique experience. It is not only a wonderful cooking course, but a chance to visit a French home, an opportunity to ask a French person questions that all tourists have and a chance to have a great day. The market experience was educational and the food that we prepared was... More

My husband and I just returned from a week in Paris. Our cooking experience with Chef, Perrine was one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed walking around Perrine's neighborhood and shopping for all the beautiful and special ingredients! (the butter was my favorite) When we got back to Perrine"s lovely apartment the day just got better. She showed... More

My wife and I were forturnate enough to get referred to A World in A Pan on our recent trip to Paris. Our host and chef, Perrine, was wonderful. My family and I wanted a completely new experience on our trip and taking a cooking class on my birthday was definitely something we hadn't done before. Marie and Veronique were wonderful especially with my kids. Our whole family was engaged both during the visit to the market and during the cooking session. We do like exploring when we travel...
