Perrine was friendly and knowledgeable. I have to say that this was one of the highlights of our trip. For me, I'm not much of a history buff and touristy places with lines repulse me. But to connect with people and to see how they live and what they eat, that is what traveling is about. Small businesses also excite... More

Our trip to the local market and cooking class with Perrine was a highlight of our trip to Paris! My husband and I spent five days in the city celebrating our birthdays and anniversary. This experience was a perfect way to wrap up our holiday. Perrine, the owner of World in a Pan, met us at the metro stop at... More

My 16 year old granddaughter and I had the pleasure on June 11, 2015 to take Perrine's choux pastry class. Perrine welcomed us warmly into her apartment and made us feel like we were old friends. Her kitchen is well organized with all the cooking essentials. It was an "on hands" class where we were well instructed from the beginning... More

One of the highlights of our trip! Perrine is a delight, so knowledgeable and generous with her skills as she taught us to prepare our three course dinner. It was a treat to be in her home and talk about life in Paris as well as enjoy the delicious food. We highly recommend this unique experience!

It was my 2nd experience with A World in a Pan and my husband's 1st. We both really enjoyed the experience and would definitely do again. Perrine loves cooking and is very knowledgeable, yet makes the experience so enjoyable for less accomplished cooks. Loved going with her to local shops and feeling like a real Parisien, as well as shopping... More

Had a fabulous time and learned some great tips and great recipes! Bring a notepad and write down any cooking tips she gives you so you can better remember them. Perrine is very personable and I enjoyed spending time with her. Recommended!

Perrine met us as expected even though we were horribly late. She was patient as we were in desperate need of coffee before beginning our shopping. The street market she took us to was FANTASTIC and her home beautiful. It was lovely to share the cooking experience in the home of a lovely French cook. We made amazing Souffle's, had... More

My husband made a wonderful choice in taking a cooking class while on our honeymoon. This was one of our greatest memory, cooking away with Perrine. The morning tour of the fresh food market. Selecting our delicatable meats, cheeses, breads and fruit. Listening to Perrine telling us the history of the French markets. Then heading home to cook our wonderful... More

Our experience of market shopping with our teacher and hostess, followed by our participation in her kitchen and consumption of the meal prepared, was only part of what made our time together memorable. We liked the personal consideration given to our diets and the informal exchange of ideas about living in both the USA and France. Time with a local... More

My husband and I throughly enjoyed spending an afternoon learning to make macaroons with Perrine in her wonderful home. Not only did we make great macaroons but we got to spend time with a talented chef in the privacy of her home. My husband and I were on the last day of our 10 day River Cruise down the Seine....
