We were almost at the end of a rather boring trip, when the driver almost hit a woman trying to cross the road. When he had to stop at a junction the woman came to tell him off. The driver got out and pushed her hard and she fell on the floor!!! Next when she got up he had her... More

It does take you through the city and the longer one gives you a view of the beaches if you don't plan on driving to those areas. Ajaccio has a pretty small old section and the rest is a city and major port, so the ride can't show you something that is't there. Other cities in Corsica have the same... More

We rode this as part of a Princess countryside excursion. We rode up the mountain a little ways and walked through the forest some to a pretty view of Lake Tolla. And then rode the train back down the hill. All in all, we were probably only on the train about 15 to 20 minutes total. Nothing special, but it... More

We went on this land train thinking we would see the sights of Ajaccio, we saw a few including a stop at Napoleans monument which was stunning, but after that it was poor not really much to see we went along the coast road most of the sea was hidden by trees and the opposite side was a large cemetery.... The petit train in Ajaccio is petit on excitement but grand on extortion. For about 8 euros it takes you up the main busy road from the harbour and after 10 minutes deposits you in a deserted car park amonst some flats. By coincidence (!)here there is a little souvenir shop, possibly under the same ownership as the train ?... More

I love the idea of traveling thru a city and not having to drive (or walk in 30+ degree heat), so I'm always a fan. We took the longer of the two rides offered, but I was the only one who thought it worthwhile. The rest of the family was bored. It goes along the coastal road for quite awhile,... More

Visited Ajaccio last week as part of a cruise and we fancied getting a quick taste of the immediate area around Ajaccio town. The train looked quite interesting and was advertised at 1 hour 40 minutes in length. It's 10 Euros each and basically you will be driven up through the town to see a monument dedicated to Napoleon Bonaparte,... More

My boy loves these trains and for value for money this was a great way to have a mini explore on a cruise stop. Top beach too!!

We took the tour of this quaint town. The train goes up the hill to the Napolean monument and then back down. That's it! Totally a waste of time.

While the train journey was a good route and a fun way of seeing the coastline, there was no English commentary which made it difficult knowing what statue or building we were looking at. I had asked at the kiosk where we bought tickets and the man said there was English commentary. A major error.
