This is an up-close and personal trip into the vineyards of Champagne andd into the making of that wonderful wine. Our guide Rachel was a young Englishwoman who married into the family that produces Wafflart-Briet Premiere Cru Champagne in the village of Sacy minutes outside Reims. She was so knowledgable and articulate and warm and friendly - a terrific guide... More

All I can say is WOW. We visited Champagne for my husband's birthday and chose this tour to celebrate his special day. Rachel went above and beyond, and our day was absolutely incredible. This was the perfect way to spend our first day in the region! Not only did we learn SO much, we had an incredible time and felt... More

Visiting the vineyard was the perfect balance of learning about champagne, literally from the ground up, and enjoying the countryside, relaxing on the patio, chatting, eating, and of course, drinking champagne. Rachel was phenomenal as guide and hostess. She's personable, knowledgable, organized and just delightful. Indeed, this was the highlight of our wonderful trip to France.

This is a "must do" when in France- what better way to learn about the art and science of making delicious champagne with a personalized tour of a family vineyard. Our guide Rachel shared her love of not only champagne but of her love of Sacy and the family she became a member of in February. The tour began with... More

This is a wonderful, personalized tour of a family- owned Champagne winery in Sacy, outside of Reims anddeserves its high ratings on Trip Advisor. It is a romantic story of a young British woman, Rachel, who goes to Reims to study French and falls in love and marries into a family grower and producer of fine French champagne. Rachel is... Rachael's personal tour of the village of Sacy and her family's vineyard and cave was the best part of our latest visit to France. It is a must if you are planning to visit the Champagne region. She picked us up at the Reims train station and took us on the short drive to the country. Along the way she... More

Rachel was right on time to pick us up at our hotel and the day was spectacular! Our trip to Sacy was informative with education about the region and the producers. Meeting Thierry, Florence and Alexi made it truly a family endeavor and, although we visited in the cold pruning season, we walked the vineyard and learned how to identify... More

Rachel provided my husband and I with an amazing personal tour of her husband's family's champagne house! Rachel picked us up from the train station (took the train in from Paris) and drove us directly to the vineyards. She provided history of the area and information regarding the many champagne houses in the region. Rachel has in-depth knowledge of the... More

A huge thanks to Rachel for such an excellent tour. We were treated with open arms once we got of the train in Reims, she was waiting for us with her sweet smile, once we got to Sacy, a nice village 15 minutes away from Reims, we learned so much about champagne. Her in-laws treated us like family members and... More
