We joined Rachel for a tour on a beautiful Spring day in Reims. We were staying in Paris, so we took the morning train and Rachel picked us up at the train station. From there, she drove us to the area where she lives and her husband and his family produce Champagne. Right off the bat, we hit it off... More

Thanks Rachel for making our special afternoon so memorable. Lots of smiles, laughs and bubbles. Nice too meet the family and understand the truth behind champagne. We all really enjoyed our RAW experience, as we did your champagne that we drunk everyday on the beach. Thanks Andy Jane Luigi & Katy xxx

We toured today with Rachel, and had an amazing day. Her knowledge about the Champagne region and Champagne itself coupled with her bubbly personality make this tour a must do. We learned a lot about the process of making Champagne in a small village, and why it is so special. We met the whole Champagne family at Wafflart-Brier, and had... More

I have found this probably one of the most difficult review to write in recent days and I have wriiten a few, the reason it is so difficult to say anything that has not already been said, this experience and that is the best way to describe this visit, is truly exceptional something if your in the area and do... What a great day. We learned so much about champagne production, far more than one would ever learn from a tour of one of the larger houses. The tasting was a joy, sampling a range of different styles. The tasting continued through lunch at a lovely local restaurant. Ever so glad we were collected and dropped off, we were far... More

A group of 12 of us decided that we should visit Reims and we found a most bubbly guide , Rachel , even more that the glass of champagne that we enjoyed later.. We were invited to witness the world of a real champagne producing family. You visit a very small family champagne house - Wafflart-Briet. You see the vineyards... More

If you are visiting the Champagne Region, this is a must do! Rachel, our guide, was knowledgeable with a truly engaging personality. Most of all she was passionate about the making of Champagne in a small family run business. We were picked up at our B&B, taken to the vineyard to explain the growing process. Then on to see the... We were met from the TGV station in Champagne by Rachel Hackett our guide for the day and driven to Sacy to see the local wine making co-op. Rachel who lives with her husband and French family is English and gave an educational talk about how Champagne is produced by her family. We drove to their vines to see the... More

I concur with all the details below. As is often the case the person you are with makes the experience. If you are looking for a sincere person telling a story she is extremely passionate about, then this tour with Rachel is the one for you. Nothing fancy, but you will soon learn that the making of Champagne is not... More

Thanks, Rachel, for a great day. We learned a lot, had a ton of laughs, and really enjoyed the hospitality of your family. I would repeat this experience again in a second. We approached this as a quasi-educational day. Kind of like a seminar, but with 4-5 bottles of champagne to make it fun. Do this if you can find... More
