We visited for a special birthday treat....we got the best day out we could ever have imagined. From pick up to drop off, we were hooked. Rachel was a fabulous host, by the end of the day we felt part of the family. And that's from a couple who like to keep ourselves to ourselves! Like others on this site,... More

Rachel coordinated the best vehicle to pick us up ... large people, large family! She was prompt and beyond delightful. As a guide, educator and member of RAW, she was fantastic. Supplied us with super information about the champagne process and answered all our (sometimes) odd questions. We had the opportunity to visit a very large producer as well. I... More

We were so lucky to have the most wonderful autumn weather for this tour . we were met by Rachel at 10 am and given the most amazing insight to a proper local villagers production of champagne. Once you have done this you wont need to bother with the big boys . She has married into to most amazing hard... More

Visit October 2015 - I have been living in and traveling Europe for 6 months now, this is BY FAR the best and most memorable experience I have had. My mom and I joined Rachel on a gloomy and frigid day in October, which was perfect! We had an absolutely fantastic day. This time of year, the vines are such... More

Rachel and her family provided an amazing in depth view to a small champagne house. Afterwards we went to the bigger houses and it was a tad boring and overly commercial. Rachel gave us a great step by step approach to champagne and a tour of the town/culture of the Village of Sacy. We got picked up at our choice... More

Our visit to Sacy was by far one of our best vacation experiences ever. I learned of RAW France through my rather compulsive research as I was planning our trip to France. My email discussions with Rachel began in March of 2014 and from that moment I knew this would be our Champagne day trip from Paris. You have several... More

I chose RAW because it is a family operation and they exceeded my expectations. Rachel is easy-going, knowledgeable, and proud of her family's history. They easily and happily took care of our family group of 6 people. We were met at the train station and the day sped by with fun and laughter all the time learning about the ins... More

What a fabulous experience tasting champagne with Rachel and her family in a small champagne house in the lovely village of Sacy. For those of you that want something slick and interactive this isn't for you and suggest you visit Mumm, Moet etc. Rachel offers a very personal and friendly tour of her families champagne house, Wafflart-Briet. From seeing how... More

If you are having any hesitation over booking with RAW France, do yourself a favor and just email Rachel right now. She does book up fast, and this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you will never regret embarking upon. We were blessed to have the happy accident of booking our trip on the first day of the harvest (they only know... More

Rachel was fantastic. We enjoyed the end-to-end champagne making process starting from an overview of the champagne region, a visit to the local co-op, cellar, vineyards, labeling & distribution centers. We got a chance to meet the entire family (including 2 adorable dogs lolly & rocky :)), enjoyed tasting 4 varieties of the WB champagne and had a tasty lunch... More
