Excellent Champagne house tour

Strictly family with 2 adult sons. Smart facilities, grand tour of the 'caves' and fermentation facilities, €20 each including one 'flute' of Lanson champagne. Worth a visit.

We have been to many champagne houses over the years, but our god daughters wanted to visit Reims. Full marks to Lanson for reply to my emails so promptly and we booked the tour because of this. Very professional and knowledgeable lady showed us around. It was interesting to see the changes in the 30 years we have been going... More

We organised a basic trip and a tour for a very modest €15 which included a glass of champagne at completion. Tour lasted about an hour and was conducted by a stunning hostess who quite obviously knew her business. The cellars are extensive and worth the trip alone.

Felt a little like she had learned the very informative tour content but didn't know all the answers to questions but this might have been a slight language barrier as she ended up giving us... A lot of reviews said this was the best tour but our guide was a little impersonal and overall we felt the Veuve Cliquot tour was better. Had we not been to Veuve first, I wouldn't have understood some of the content at Lanson (though the guide spoke English well, it was just not as much information). There was obviously... More

We decided to book a tour after reading the reviews and we don't regret! The tour is interesting, fair price and the champagne tasting is delicious! The staff was very helpful and friendly! I definitely recommend it, but don't forget to book in advance.
