We were a group of four and went at 10.30 on Sunday as it was the only house open. We paid to taste 5 champagnes and found the young gentlemen who served us to be very friendly and took the time to explain the champagnes to us. When we asked about the cognac and wines on display he gave us... More

First of all: we advise you not to go to this champagne house , they charge you more than they tell you when you come in and they were uninterested and unfriendly during and after our champagne tasting. Our experience: After a quick look on tripadvisor, we decided to visit Comtesse Lafond for a tour. Unfortunately (?), this champagne house... More

Stumbled on this champagne house while we waited for a scheduled tour at another. The atmosphere was a little stuffy, and at first the staff seemed a little uptight, but we quickly realized they were just extremely proud of their champagne. The champagne was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Worth a visit if you have 30 minutes to... More

We came across this Champagne house having seen the chateau picture in a book. It's at the end of the Avenue Champagne, but was well worth the extra short walk. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by a very well presented young man. He was very informative and helpful. We had a Personal tasting session, and sat on the lawn... More

We visited this champagne house based on TA reviews and can't say enough good things about our experience here. From the moment we walked into the estate we were greeted warmly by Nicholas who made us feel very welcome. He explained the options available to us for our visit and we chose to taste the 6 champagnes available (3 champagnes... More

We walked into this castle, a 5 minute walk from Mercier. The family works in the shop and allows tastings of any of their Champagne. He only spoke french but had notecards of each champagne in other languages. We tasted 5 Champagne's expecting a fee but since we bought a bottle that was the only charge. He also gave us... More

This tour was absolutely memorable. Private in their new very nicely renovated Chateau and cellars in the end of Champagne boulevard. Theyr champagne is also targeted more to the upper lever users. Marketing focus is targeted in to Monte carlo and Monaco

This tour included the castle restoration, the small cellar on site and three champagne tastings for 14 euros. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was a bit more than some other tours but included three products to taste so I think it was worth it and also varied from the others.

If you walk just past Mercier on your way UP the Avenue de Champagne, you will find a real Jewel on the left side of the road - Comtesse Lafond Champagne - which has a great garden and lovely Castle setting - - we first tried their Champagne at the Royal Champagne Hotel restaurant (and paid dearly for that) -...
