It's hard to imagine the wealth that created structures such as these. While Chambord doesn't have the lavishly appointed interiors of Cherveny or Chenonceau, it's size and architecture are sights to behold. More

Chambord was a disappointment for me. Although it is very beautiful in French Renaissance style, the interior was disappointing when I visited. From tours you can grab a tour bus that will take you to both Chambord and Cheverny on the same day.
