Brought my 11 year old son again for the second time and enjoyed it again. Items in the shop are a bit of a rip off. Too expensive for tricks made in China.

We stumbled upon this place after having lunch in Blois. The kids wanted to go in and the price was not too steep (€28 for 2 adults and 2 kids). The first floor was a bit lame but the kids seem to enjoy it. We then went into the show.....oh my goodness....it it probably one of the worst things I... More

An enjoyable little museum and a good stage show let down by having no attempt at crowd management in the getting into and out of the theatre. It's worth the hassle, but it could be so much better very easily.

I'd "done" Chateau Blois (very good!) and was standing outside when I heard bells chiming. I turned round, saw shutters opening on windows and then....and then..... six dragons stuck their heads out of the windows!! They started tuning their heads and looking at each other like the Siamese cats in "Lady And The Tramp" (yes, I am that old!) and... More

2 adults and five children, travelled specifically into blois to see this attraction. Waited until 3.15 for the show, which only runs three times per day... 11.15, 3.15 and 5.15. We paid in, €9 per adult and €5 for 4 children over 6..... Entered into the room but could see no evidence of the "magic show" and returned to reception... More

Very interesting if you love a little magic, even the show at the end catered for both children and adults worth a visit

There was very little magic on display. The room of illusions was totally lame. There was a show which might have been entertaining for kids. Actually, if you have young children this might be worth a visit. Otherwise go walking in the town.

After we visited Chateau Royal de Blois we had a coffee break at the square. And suddenly as I was looking at the building in front of me, Maison de la Magie, the windows opened and gold dragons appeared, threatening our lives! It's certainly for very young children but for us it was a pleasant moment. Jean-Eugène Robert-Houdin was a... More

... it needs more signs in English as we don't all read or understand French. That's it's chief negative. Nevertheless, there's lots of fun here for all ages but barely a single secret revealed. If you are going to do the Chateau (which is just across the square), take the package deal for both available at the Chateau.

We visited this museum, which to be honest looks a little out dated already. Plenty of school aged kids were having a ball, and I suppose that's who it is aimed at, as it certainly didn't push our buttons. Don't get me wrong, it's good harmless fun, but nothing mind blowing or spectacular.
