I visited the mini chateaux land in August with my family of four. The entry cost was expensive at 14 euros, but on reflection just about worth it. We had a great time wandering around the site admiring the models that are pretty spectacular. Each mini chateau is a scale model of an actual Loire chateaux all set in a... More

Nice park with many castles from the Loire, the park however needs a lot of maintenance to the castles. Entry fee is pretty high for the experience delivered. It is a great park if you like to take pictures on miniature castles during a sunny day.

Dear Guest! Thank you for your comment and your interest in Mini-Chateaux Park. We want our visitors to discover the wonders of the Loire Valley with another look, and perhaps make the choice of their visit before going to see them for real. Children can indeed enjoy the activities. As you see this year really marks the rebirth of the... More

Just outside of Amboise a fairly new model village of the Loire Chateaux with the rivers and trees all to scale. Each Chateaux has a short description in French and English with both some historical facts and some light hearted comments. There are a few things to keep young children happy (car ride, maze, remote control boats, etc.) Staff very... More

We (me, my wife, 10-year-old son and 12-year old daughter) actually spent an enjoyable afternoon here. I went round taking pictures of the castles, the kids had a go on the (admittedly not that exciting) car track, and they also had fun with the remote-control boats and racing each other through the maze. One for a nice sunny day, I... More

Someone spent years making these scale models of the main Chateaus of the Loire Valley. If you take photos you might think they were the actual Chateaus. It's sad that there is a feeling of neglect around the place and I was bothered that the work of this individual was not respected. Interesting if you don't have the opportunity to... More

To be honest when the car park was mostly empty and shabby we should have turned around. But pressed on. The kids asked to leave 40mins later. It it wasnt for the bouncy castle that probably would have been more like 30. Place is shabby and unkempt. The moats around the fibreglass model chataux all empty and full of leaves... More

Disappointing, travelled with our 3 young children and my parents. Place looked great on brochure we picked up. Got there and the mini chateau's were impressive however the place is tired and not very well maintained. We travelled over an hour to get there, paid €65 approx admission only to find there was no restaurant facilities whatsoever! They have the... More

The idea of this park/attraction is great, and the way it was constructed is pretty novel. There's lots of castles in the Loire valley, but one of the difficulties of appreciating such large structures is actually seeing the whole thing! The Mini-Chateaux park is essentially a helicopter-style overview of the region. The good: The park is landscaped to mimic the... More

We have visited a number of castles in the Loire Valley but not only can you not see them all, you get saturated if you go round too many at one time. This gives you the opportunity to get an idea of what they all look like and perhaps choose what you really want to see. Although it is a... More

When it was first constructed, it was interesting and quirky. Since, it has deteriorated.
