The Owl's Trail is a fabulous 22-stage trail around Dijon centre, designed 'to give you a taste of Dijon's charm', first head to the Tourism Office in Rue des Forges, near Notre Dame and purchase the little guidebook for 3.50 euros. There is no time frame to do the walk in, but it will take around 1 hour if you... More

Great fun - particularly if you like churches, which we do. Dijon is a lovely city, and the walking trail gives a visit direction. More

My husband and I arrived in Dijon on a weekend. Since most places were closed, we decided to walk around and discover Dijon on our own. Thankfully the tourist info was open and they gave us a booklet on the Owl's Trail. Basically we followed tiny copper arrows with owls engraved on the sidewalks and streets to take us to... More

Thanks to all the Trip Advisor reviewers who recommended The Owl's Trail in Dijon. The route is easy to follow, and the booklet gives a thorough overview of Dijon with lots of options for longer routes. It's well worth the 3.50 Euro for the descriptions of the sites. More

Definitely a fun way to see all the main sites Dijon has go offer whilst learning about them at the same time. The owls are in the pavement and there are plenty which should stop anyone getting lost! Do buy the guide book from the tourist office though as it really is helpful to learn what everything is. More

We loved the Chouette tour - it was a fun and simple way to get to know the city at your own pace. We were slightly unsure about some of the English translations in the booklet but really enjoyed following the plaques around the town and learning a little of the town's history. More

With about 22 spots on the walking tour is you wanted to go non-stop it could be done in about an hour but honestly it is next to impossible not to stop along the path to take photos, stop for cafe or bakery, visit a museum or stop for shopping. I purchased the Dijon Tourism path that included many free... More

Hi The Owl trail is a self guided tour that takes in most of the tourist sites in Dijon. The route is marked on the footpath (sidewalk) by brass triangular tiles. When you come to a point of interest there is a number marked on the ground and then you look up the number in a little brochure that you... More
