Owner description: The only wine tours in Burgundy created by a wine-maker.Alter & Go, a different approach to wine tours in Burgundy. Elohim was the first to offer cultural tours including themes in Dijon, such as cheese, truffles, barrels tasting, the evening tours as well or the visit of Beaune, and last year barrels making or UNESCO tour.....Widely reported since, Alter & Go is nevertheless the only company in Burgundy created by a true professional of the wine which confers to its circuits soul and spirit unique.

Had an awesome day with Damien. The tour is a great combination of culture, history, wine and gastronomy.....which sums up Burgundy. Damien was very easy going and very obliging of our requests. His knowledge of Burgundy's history and culture is great, and he offered us some suggestions on where to eat and what to do in Dijon too. Would highly... More

Alter and Go really has a very original approach to creating their tours. I was very surprised that it was not just about wine degustations and looking around through the window of the minibus. Actually we had a lot of stops: absolutely amazing view points, famous vineyards. Elohim explained a lot of details of the wine making process. Of course... More

We booked a half day tour that covered cheese, wine and the lovely sights of Burgundy. Damien was very warm and friendly and took really good care of our 4 year old. Everything was well taken care of, and the pace of the tour was relaxed, and allowed us to take our time to take in the sights and smell... More

We booked the afternoon with Damien, who is native to Dijon and also very experienced with the wines and history of wine making in the area. It was a unique experience compared with visiting a winery. It was a tour of the area AND a taste of the region. We drove around, and Damien shared details about the town. Then... More

We took a 3 hour tour with Damien, and we were the only people on the tour, so the tour was fabulously personalised and informative. We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the countryside and seeing the endless rows of vines... A real eye opener! Thank you! We highly recommend. Jen and Brad, Australia.

Thanks to the good offices of Elohim Balest, we were able to walk through a vineyard where the pinot noir grapes were being picked, and to talk to the pickers. Elohim knows (probably!) everything there is to know about the Burgundy vineyards, the grapes, the terroir, and wine production there in general, and has first-rate contacts with the relevant people.... We booked a wine tasting tour with Damien through Alter & Go in Dijon France October 2014 right after their crush. Living in the wine country in California we started out with a little wine knowledge. We were picked up in a comfortable private car by Damien who is a native of Dijon and speaks fluent English, is also part owner... This full day tour has made our stay in Dijon one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. We were the only couple booked so Damien, our guide, drove us in a very comfortable car for the entire day. His enthusiasm for the history, culture and gastronomic delights of Burgundy was evident in the information he gave us and... More

"Superbe" is the word we would use if we were French. My husband and I decided to take a wine tour in the Burgundy region around Dijon. We chose "Alter and Go" and the only tour which suited all our criteria was "Beaunny Times". Our guide and driver was Damien Bretonnière. He was "Superbe" as a tour guide. Although we... More

I had no intention of going on a wine tour in France. I had some time to kill on my way from Switzerland to Dieppe, France for the International Dieppe Kite Festival. Stopped for one night in Dijon, France on the way. Extended that to 3. Had some time to kill the 2nd day. Decided to take a tour. Lonely... More
