Beaune is absolutely beautiful. Definately worth a visit if you are in the Burgundy region and the Marche aux Vins is a real gem! We did the self guided tour which meant that we could taste the wines at leisure in the caves, it's a great way of finding out exactly which Burgundy wines you like. Heaven for wine lovers! more

Marche aux Vins was the highlight of our trip to Beaune. Beaune itself is fantastic and very manageable. Try to be there on a Saturday to experience the outdoor market, it is not to be missed.
