I read all the reviews before we went to France and knew this was a must visit. I didn't want to restrict our days with a ton of tours so I didn't make a reservation beforehand. Once in Beaune, I knew I wanted a tasting, and again, La Cave kept coming up the best. We tired emailing for a reservation... More

This was highly recommended on Trip Advisor so we followed up with reservations. We were under the impression this would be a private tasting for the four of us but upon arrival we were grouped with 16 other people, seated around two tables. The grouping took us by surprise but, onward and upward! One table was led by Pierre, the... More

The reviews speak for themselves, this is a delightful and informative way to spend a couple of hours in Beaune. I recommend you call and reserve a spot, get in as soon as you can on arriving in Beaune. We bought a couple of delicious wines to take with us. You can also organise delivery to most international destinations. There... More

We had a fantastic time tasting wine. We consider ourselves food and drink hobbiests, but wine is the area I know least about. We had a wonderful time tasting and learning. La Cave de l'Ange Gardien was our first stop on our trip and I highly recommend doing the same. From what we learned here, our knowledge and appreciation of... More

A great wine tasting experience. After an introduction to how we should taste and where the Burgundy wines were produced and named we blind tasted five varied Burgundian whites. Chardonnay of course. Then we tasted five wonderful red wines, yes Pinot Noirs, from Burgundy. With maps, descriptions and humor this was a very enjoyable wine tasting experience. The blind tasting... More

We visited 2 years ago and had an awesome experience doing 20 odd blind wine tastings, which helped to sort out our preferences rather than label watching. We were then sent to other local vineyards where we were able to buy less trendy wines at a snip of the price for Premier and Grand Cru's. They were super helpful. We... More

Wow. One September afternoon, Pierre (who owns and operates this world-class winery) treated me and an Australian wine connoisseur to a host of different white and red wines. Over three hours, Pierre taught us how to truly understand and enjoy wine - as he kept emphasizing, the most important part of drinking wine is about experiencing pleasure. He gave us... More

Take three hours. Mix in humor, learning, and wine. While I'm not a wine expert by any means and never smelled what was described when smelling each wine, I had a great time. We would suggest you go here before visiting any of the wineries.
