We did the tour and were pleasantly surprised. It was both entertaining and educational (for us wine enthusiasts) so this may be interesting even if you know a lot about Burgundy wines. The tour is extensive and the history of the place and of the family was a surprisingly interesting. Good value for money. The wine tasting was definitely worth... More

Bouchard Pere et Fils is located in the nice centre of Beaune, and organizes daily guided tours in their cellars and provides information on the Bouchard family and the production of Bourgogne wine. You can choose to have the tour in French or English (see the website for exact times). At the end of the tour, nice wine tasting. We were... More

Reading some of the reviews of this Winery I think the best question each person can ask is, "What do you want?" If you want to learn the basics of wine including cellaring, tasting, bottling, etc. and do not want to spend $100+ each to do so, this is the perfect tour. It gives you a full range of information... More

Mediocre tour for the English-speaking visitors, but the wines are good and the caves are interesting. If your hotel offers you a voucher - then I can justify paying them a visit. Otherwise - there are plenty more interesting places.

Great tour guide and interesting history of the place. The wine is amazing and so much Grand Cru! We were on a tour with 6 other people and everyone bought wine (including us)!

We had a great tour with a charming young woman, Sandra. She was very generous with the degustation and very knowledgeable about the estate and wines in general. My only complaint and it is a small one is that at some Domaine that we visited, when we bought wine, the cost of the degustation was waved, but it was not... More

We visited just to buy wine. We wanted to spend money in their establishment but they were rude beyond belief. At first they insisted we do a cellar tour about 4 hours later that would be in english and come back (we have 2 young children who weren't up for that on this day). I then asked if i could... More

Bouchard is like the McDonald's of Burgundy, with a huge amount/variety of wines being produced. They do have some great estates and have produced decent wines in good vintages. Having said that, their main estate in Beaune is a good place to start your visit to Burgundy, with a very user-friendly tour (though note that this is more an outlet;... More

We bought a case of wine here after researching on internet for 24 hours and to our great surprise even aftert 175 Euro for shipping buying the wine from them there was 20% LESS than buying the same wine in the USA with delivery. But to our GREAT surprise as we were checking out the friendly personnel asked where we... More
