Nice for a stroll, beautifully landscaped

Don't forget to have a look at the botanic garden. Students gather on the lawns, talking & reading. Nice atmosphere.

The park is well laid out and quite beautiful. Gardens are manicured. The signage especially on the entrance near the street is good. There is a choice of three pathways up to the plateau where most of the gardens are located. Allow 2-3 hours to walk around and appreciate the park but it could be done more quickly. I would... Lovely park, on the afternoon, evening that we were there there was live music, the parc also has an aviary and if you poke a branch through their cage the birds might even come and sit on it.

Beautiful park where you could chill and relax. Bring a good book, some friends, board games and snacks. It's also a good park for a morning or afternoon run!

We went on a Sunday, everything else in the area was shut, and the carousel and cafe too. the playground area was for older kids, which was disappointing for our 2 year old. Beautiful gardens and massive trees, would visit again if we had a picnic with us.

Calm oasis 5 minutes walk from the old city. Beautiful rose garden. Entertainment on Sundays in summer. We saw Breton choir and folk dancers.

A place I love to stroll when I am in Rennes. The parc is quite large with a small stream running through it. It's a good place to wind down. The parc is located closed by the strain station. So before jumping in my tgv, it's easy to take a walk in this park.

A sunny day, a picnic sourced locally and eaten in exquisitely beautiful gardens within a short walk of our hotel. An aviary, waterfalls, a rose garden, a substantial children's play area. Four abreast patrolling park wardens, young, fit and perhaps a little distracted from the task by their conversation. Necessary for us to move uacknowledged off the path twice, because... More

I enjoyed walking around this historic park and learning about its history. I also like the way they had labelled most of the plans. The quality of the planting could have been better but the size of it and the water features and different areas meant it was a pleasure to visit.
