Worth a few minutes to walk around inside. A great location on a quieter street. Saw a few tour groups taking their visitors there but we just walked in on our own.

This church, built just before the French Revolution, employed all the new techniques learned in Rome. huge open interior spaces with lanterned domes that bring in natural light.

Notre Dame is almost hidden away in the Place du Chapelet a bit of backwater square behind the Grand Hotel and main Cours Intendance tram thoroughfare. It has a fine stone baroque fron blending in with surrounding buildings but inside is somewhat austere with an unusual barrel vaulted roof.

This church is kind of hidden away on a side street. Look for it, it is magnificent. At one point in the history of Bordeaux it was the cathedral because the cathedral could not be used.

When you hear or read Notre Dame automatically you think of Paris, but the one in Bordeaux is something of great too. The style is Baroque, it's imponent and rich. The inside is enriched bu the beauty of the windos, as well thanks to the statues. Something you have to see.

An impressive church both inside and outside. Took us a while to find it among the twisting streets. Not as elorabte as St Andrews.

We stopped in to view this church while walking around the old city in Bordeaux. Impressive structure, but not recommended for those with allergies. The mold smell is overpowering.

This church is breathtaking - the architecture and stained glass. Absolutely inspiring and moving to be in this space.

Well, first of all, this has become our church since our move to Bordeaux. The Monseigner and other priests are quite nice, the services are wonderful. As a tourist, this Eglise is not to be missed or the wonderful art within its walls. Part of the Cours Malby area, developed by the Dominican Priest hundred of years ago, the churn's... More

We loved visiting and seeing the beautiful churches and cathedrals in Paris and Bordeaux. This one was smaller and so old. It was a wonderful experience to touch the stones knowing they were there for so many years.
