I did the combination of the wine tasting class and chateaux visit. The morning session learning about wine was a great way to start and to expand my wine knowledge. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate but not at all condescending to those of us who were just learning. Everything about it was very friendly. The Chateaux tours were also... More

We booked and paid for the tour online and the meeting point was the Bordeaux tourist office - we took the tour on Saturday 20 June and our guide was 'Laura'. My first impressions were good, a small group tour (there were just eight of us with our guide) in a decent people carrier. We were lucky - our group... More

I only had one day in Bordeaux and this tour was perfect! I took the full day St. Emilion tour. Our guide (Astrid) was completely knowledgeable but also a ton of fun. I've been on other tours, but still learned so many new and interesting things. Starting the day with the wine tasting class shaped my tasting (later on) in... More

Two vans of us were picked up from the tourist office for the St Emillion half day.Friendly host and knowledgable about wine and the region. Both chateaus were very modern and high tech with huge investment having gone in. Tasted four wines in total which is not a huge amount over six hours. What let it down somewhat was that... More

Our guide, Emma, grew up on a chateau and gave us all the facts and history about the Bordeaux wine region before we even reached the first chateau. This made it even easier to understand the process described at each beautiful family-owned estate. Bordovino reserved tours for us at awesome, small, family-run vineyards, which made it even more special. Everything... More

Great tour company. Very enthusiastic and helpful people. Don't book through Viator, it just costs more and they aren't helpful after they get your money. Buy direct at http://www.bordovino.com/ They use vans with a max of 8 people on the tour so it's easy to talk to your guide if you have any questions. What a beautiful way to see... More

We booked this half day tour through the office d' tourisme and both Claire's (guides) were excellent. Very informative and two beautiful chateaux. Good knowledge of the area and regional wines. We did feel that it was v expensive though.

Marine was an outstanding tour guide. Half day tour of Medoc region was excellent, visit to Château Margaux included but could not go inside. Highly recommend this tour.

This day trip was WELL worth the cost. Our guides were very knowledgeable and communicating in English was not a problem. Our morning was spent at the Dune du Playa (amazing views!), followed by oyster tasting with wine....we ordered extra servings as they were delicious! Back to Bordeaux for a picnic lunch....very satisfying and plentiful. After lunch we drove to... More

Our afternoon in the St Emilion/Medoc region with Bordovino was truly memorable. Stephane was well versed in all aspects of the area providing invaluable insight as our tour progressed. The 2 vineyards were a perfect example of old and new world Bordeaux with the flight of tastings showcasing the diversity and nuance of St Emilion varietals. For picturesque scenery, an intimate... More
