We went on the half day St Emillion tour. It ended up being a private Tour with Mathieu as we were the only booking. It was a fabulous 4 hours. Mathieu was very informative and kept us interested the entire time. The village of Saint-Emillion was beautiful and well worth a visit (could have spent an entire day there). The... More

We did a full day tour to Medoc and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were driven around in an 8 person mini van which was comfy, and Isabelle tour guide was super informative and really friendly. We learned a lot about wines. We highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Isabelle was an excellent guide!! She was extremely knowledgeable of the areas we visited as well as the wines, grapes and wine production. She arranged for an extra wine tasting at a charming St. Emilion wine shop. It was a delight to have the owners of both chateaus provide a personal tour. Isabelle was most attentive and truly made our... More

My wife and I really enjoyed the half-day tour to St. Emilion. It felt like a proper introduction to the Bordeaux region and its appelations in just a short trip. Our guide was awesome - knowledgeable and generous with info. It was a small group (seven people), so we got to ask plenty of questions. The tour mixed history, wine-making,... More

A half-day tour of the Medoc doesn't sound like much of a wine tour at all, but the team at Ophorus showed how much can be done in such a short timeframe. Our 4 hour tour started promptly at 2:00 and was conducted in a very professional manner by guide David. His knowledge of Bordeaux wine is expansive and his... More

We took two full-days tours (Medoc and Saint Emilion) with Marion as our guide. She was very knowledgeable of the area and the wines....and just a pleasure to be with. One might think touring six chateaus in two days might be somewhat repetitious, but the individual chateaus had been selected to offer the variety to make this not the case.... More

Our short stay in Bordeaux limited our wine adventures and a 1/2 day tour of the Medoc was our only available option. Lasting around 4 hours, our tour was jam-packed with interest and information. Our guide David was a mine of information and the 2 Margaux chateaux visited were very well chosen. Our tasting at Boyd-Cantenac was especially interesting, best... More

Participated in the all day tour of St. Emilion and Pomerol with Sarah. So glad we did! Sarah knows everything about wine and the region...she's a virtual oenophile encyclopedia. Kudos...this is an expensive tour, but truly worth the experience and knowledge gained. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you for offering such a fabulous day!

We took the Medoc region and Saint Emilion wine tour for two full days (10am-6:30pm) and were very impressed with the tour. Our tour guide was Marion and she was great! She was very passionate in her delivery giving us endless information throughout the day. She also stopped at other beautiful chateaus along the way for picture taking. Lunch was... More

We did a 2 day wine tour, first to Saint Emilion Appelation which also has quite a historical note to the tour too! Isabelle, our driver and guide was very knowledgeable and able to give us full details on the development of the wine industry, plus the history! Our second day was to the Medoc Appelation, where again Isabelle gave... More
