Great little boat tour (70 minutes), perfect for a rainy day. Catch the boat not too far from the cathedral. We paid about €25 for two adults and two children under 5. There are headsets at each seat which allow you to select your language and hear a description of the sites. The kid's selection features a humorous pirate telling... More

Just over 1 hour trip round Strasbourg - great way to get a feel of the city during our first day of visiting. You can take a covered boat if the weather is bad or enjoy the sun as we did. The commentary was great. Our 8 year old really enjoyed the kids version - which was a great idea!!

Easy to find (by the Palais de Rohan riverside), queuing a bit annoyingly slow, but boats every 30 mins, €32 for 2 adults and a 13 yr old, not bad but not cheap. Took an hour and 10, offered a bit of time off your feet and lots of photo opps. FYI there IS a loo on the boat. We... More

We did the covered boat tour in the afternoon to beat the heat. The aircon was a welcome relief. The tour was great value and very informative as well. A terrific was to orient us for exploring further.

3 day Strasbourg Pass purchased from the tourist information €18.90 near the Notra Damn Cathedral. Allowing you to go on the river cruise with other attractions free or at a discounted rate. It's a good way to see Strasbourg with the French and German imfluences. It also makes it easier exploring later on as you are familiar where you are... More

Love the boat trip especially the air conditioned one where we took the kids. I love that the commentary has a kids' version which is actually more entertaining than the adult version. You can take quite clear pictures from it as well.

Glorious sunny day so we took the roofless boat. Superb views. Headphone commentary (Irish accent) hilarious in places. Route goes through medieval, 19thc and modern city with superb views. Much better than trudging around in the heat with a guide. Recommended.

After being in the queue for at least 25 minutes, we finally purchased out tickets. We were lucky to get the last seats on the next boat which was leaving in 15 mins. When we went down to the pier, we had to get in yet another very, very long queue to board the boat. When we were finally on... More

Nice clean boat with audio available in many languages and separate children's versions. Wonderful way to see many parts of the city. Only problem was that the audio tour wasn't synced with what we were going by at the time. It would take about a timber frame home when none were in site for example. My girls enjoyed going through... More

Found this boat trip very interesting once I had found the right language to listen to the commentary. A very worthwhile trip to experience the history of the area.
