The positives are that its a good way to see a very beautiful city however the queuing system is bizarre and takes too long. I think you can buy your ticket before hand and that would be very strongly recommended. It also a little too long at 70 mins.

The boat trip lasts just over an hour and takes you around all the main waterways of Strasbourg: and ideal way to work out the geography of the city.

I was impressed with the audio tour. Love the buildings and the city is just so picturesque. My little nephew loved the version for children: it was very animated and kept him interested on the tour.

We had few time to discover the city, it was very very hot so we decided to go with the batorama. The trip was very interesting, the boat is closed but with a\c that worked well and we saw lots of places like the Ue parliament otherwise we couldn't visit. There are commentaries in various languages with personal headsets. There... More

A 70 minutes boat tour is quite a pleasant experience and the commentary available in approximately 12 languages (also with a version for children with voices from young kids) makes this tour very entertaining. You get to see a wide variety of buildings new and old including some of the old tanners' dwellings. There are two locks to go through... More

It was great boat trip. We enjoyed specially the time of boat going up and down while passing through the locks. Beautiful view through the river.

We took a chance on taking this trip in an open boat and, fortunately, we missed an enormous thunderstorm shortly after we got back. We both enjoyed the ride - it is a great way to see the city and gives a very different perspective compared to walking. We used the tour to get to know the historic heart of... More

We took the Batorama on a very hot day this past July on a day trip to Strasbourg. It is very informative and gives you a good overview of the city. It is easy to find and there are plenty of boats operating all day long. They do not take cash, only credit cards. The boats are quite cramped and... More

After a morning walking tour, visit the the Strasbourg Cathedral, and walking the City Centre, we LOVED having a moment to sit back and enjoy Strasbourg from its beautiful canals. This was a relaxing way to see Strasbourg in a different way. We chose not to utilize the audio portion since we had heard much of the history in the... More

We did the boat tour on our first day and it was a really good way of getting our bearings. You also get to see parts of the city you wouldn't normally see from the land.
