I often dither about whether boat trips are worth it as you can only see what's near the water, but I wasn't up to much walking so I gave it a go. I queued to buy a ticket which... read more

I like boat trips and this was is not disappointing. The city of Strasbourg is a lovely place, the canals, the architecture, and the history converge and anyone is in awe of it. I took this boat ride in Spring and I would take it again. I do recommend that you try to be one of the firsts to get... More

We took this short boat ride on the canal. It is a wonderful way to see the sights of the city. The commentary was good; I would have liked a little more explanation on some of the more important buildings. The commentary did give a brief history of the city which was helpful. Even though we were there in April,... More

We spent an hour on the boat and would higly recommend it. Going through the locks was fascinating and we had such a good view of the city.

We took the short canal ride of 45 minutes along the main canal in Strasbourg. The contrast of the buildings from the 15th century and the ultra modern buildings of the European Parliament made quite an impression. There are audio guides in about 10 languages. There is also a ride of an hour and 10 minutes. There is a toilet on the boat.

I often dither about whether boat trips are worth it as you can only see what's near the water, but I wasn't up to much walking so I gave it a go. I queued to buy a ticket which was for the long cruise with about an hour's wait which was fine as it's right next to some lovely mediaeval... More

we queued for one hour on a Monday morning in the shambles that is trying to purchase a ticket.it would be another 2 hours before the longer trip so we went on the shorter trip. 45 mins of nothing to see and more music on the headphones than information. don't bother with this

Dear Guildford, I am really sorry that you did not appreciate your tour on our boat. As a matter of fact, it may happen that there is a pretty long queue at our desk. To ensure that our customers do not wait sometimes for a long time, we have an online store where you can choose the departure you want... More

This is an okay experience, and reasonably-priced. For a quick introduction to Strasbourg it is a good choice. Keep in mind that the Strasbourg river and its banks are a mixed bag, view and cleanliness wise. There are no drop-dead fabled views, either, comparable to those that come every 5 minutes on the Seine. It is worth coming early so... More

The Batorama cruise of the island was delightful. But make sure that you get your ticket in advance. We just went to the quai on our first day in Strasbourg and discovered that all of the cruises were sold out for the remainder of the day. We were able to buy tickets for the next day, which worked out well... More

Many of my friends suggested, that I should have this boat tour. It is a must I was told. After my own experience I am not quite so sure. Long queue at the ticket office, fully packed boat, boring story through the headphones, uncomfortable seats, no chance to take quality pictures. I agree, that this is a quick way of... More
