This was a very affordable and relaxing introduction to the history and layout of Strasbourg. We arrived about 30 minutes before an 11:00 am departure and had no difficulty obtaining tickets; I noticed later departures appeared to be a bit busier. The audio guide was very informative (we enjoyed the little interjections of humour into the commentary), and having a... More

I really recommend to do, if you have time. There are multi-languages ' chain on your headset,so you just have to choose yours! I've always done with friends or family, but they all appreciate it, without exception. Even in winter time, it is heated inside, and when you're with small children or older persons, you just have to sit and look!!... More

We walked right up to the ticket window at the top of the stairs and bought tickets for the "next trip" in about an hour. There were 4 boats operating on Saturday afternoon, September 13th. We were instructed to get in line about 15 minutes before departure and told the particular dock to board. The commentary was in French, English,... More

After 2 unsuccessful trails to buy ticket for “the next tour”, we decided to buy tickets one-day in advance to reserve seats for the time that suits us more. Ideally, you should take the tour on your first day of arrival. It will give you an overall idea about the city and help you to plan your time in Strasbourg.... More

I love history and love getting to know cities I visit them and thought this would be a good way to see the city on a rainy day. Wrong. I have no complaints with the price, people or boat but the commentary was terrible. It lacked any sort of detail and rather than try and weave a story it was... More

Going around the city of Strasbourg on the open air barge was really worth it. The commentary was very good and the children had a separate commentary from the adults which made it fun for them too. I would recommend to arrive at least 20 minutes before.

The positives are that its a good way to see a very beautiful city however the queuing system is bizarre and takes too long. I think you can buy your ticket before hand and that would be very strongly recommended. It also a little too long at 70 mins.

The boat trip lasts just over an hour and takes you around all the main waterways of Strasbourg: and ideal way to work out the geography of the city.

I was impressed with the audio tour. Love the buildings and the city is just so picturesque. My little nephew loved the version for children: it was very animated and kept him interested on the tour.

We had few time to discover the city, it was very very hot so we decided to go with the batorama. The trip was very interesting, the boat is closed but with a\c that worked well and we saw lots of places like the Ue parliament otherwise we couldn't visit. There are commentaries in various languages with personal headsets. There... More
