10 minutes into the ride, my family was bored as the information that they give on each landmark/attraction are one liners. E.g. "This statue was built during the world war 2" You would expect them to go on with something like "when xx was invaded and to signify the lives lost during the war..." but the information ends abruptly with... Children up to six I believe are free, at least we didn't pay for a four year old. Adults 6,50. It was a fun ride and provides headphones with the tour in about 14 languages. It's 35 minutes and gives you a quick impression of Colmar. especially on the bridge where you can see the canal with the pittoresque houses.... More

The "petit train" is a small touristique train that goes round Colmar with of course a conductor and an audio guide in several languages to show you a little bit about Colmar and it's history. You get to be in a wagon protected by a glass and get a guided tour of the town. It's not so expensive and is... More

The petit train is relatively inexpensive , about six euros and provides a thirty five minute drive around the old and new parts of Colmar. The audio guide with separate earphones for each participant is in eleven languages and provides a general background for all the major tourist attractions in the town. It also provides for those staying for more... More

You wouldn't have to take one of the little trains to get around the very walkable part of old Colmar, but it's fun! And it's nice to get the multilingual recorded guide -- many languages available -- as a kind of orientation. The little trains -- almost like an amusement park ride -- leave from the square right outside the... More

There are actually 2 trains, the Green train and the White Train and both do the same circular route so it doesn't matter which one you get on! The driver is friendly and once you've put on the headphones (and selected which language you want) you are off. The commentary is good and the train stops for long enough for... More

So, naturally when our 2 year old son started pointing at this mini train that zipped by, we had to give it a go. The folks running this little tour were very nice. You just hop on this "train on wheels", put on the little headsets and away you go. It travels all through the historic city center of Colmar... More

We had been in town for 3 days before we took the little green train. We had a seat to ourselves and our audio headphones worked just fine and were in sync with the attractions. We had walked by the "house of heads" and a few of Bartholdi's statues without knowing the significance til we took the train ride. We... More
