Not what I would call a tourist attraction - more a round-about decoration. Still, if you haven't seen Lady L herself, and you've had a look at the museum, it's nice to cast a glance at it as you leave town.

on a traffic circle so hard to get a picture! I tried -- but couldn't get a good pic--sorry I will say it was at night--so maybe in the day it would have been easier

Not an attraction at all. It's a small replica statue made recently and installed in the middle of a small roundabout outside the town.

This statue is located at a roundabout as you enter the town of Colmar from the A5. There is no stalls of souvenirs or designated parking around it. It is just a nice passing by attraction.

The statue is a small replica of the real one in NY. I have not seen the big one so this was amazing for me (am not shy of that). It is really nice and the green grass around it is really kept clean... If you want to get a picture from your car, just go around it several times... More

Seriously, this is considered something that needs a review?? It's a small replica of the Statue of Liberty in the middle of a traffic circle!!! It's actually very out of place, even though I realize the guy who designed//made it is from Colmar. Not impressed!

Nothing special as you drive by! I would not seek this out unless you have not seen the real thing in New York!

On one of the main roads into Colmar is about a one third size model of the statue of Liberty to welcome visitors. As it is in the middle of a round-about or traffic circle you don't have as much of an opportunity to take it in with leisure.

I went to Colmar in the Alsace region of France for the architecture, the wine, the food. But when i got there, i discovered that Colmar was the home of the creator of the Statue de la liberté in NY. Since i love history, it was a nice bonus.
