We have just returned from a seven day trip on the Rhone. It was a first for us after several ocean cruises. We enjoyed it so much more ! Firstly there were only 140 guests and the service was friendly and professional. The food was gourmet, the cabins were a good size and the public ares were spacious with beautiful... More

We joined the french vessel M/S Camargue, operated by Croisi Europe, at Chalon sur Saone. The cruise was to take us down the rivers to Marseilles, with lots of stops on the way. Dinner, with table wines included was being served as we left for Macon. After breakfast next day, one could go ashore and explore Macon on your own.... More

Having recently returned from a Burgundy,Rhone & Provence cruise (5th-12th May) booked through Riviera River Cruises I had to post this review as my friend and I had such a super time. Everything lived up to the brochure description plus so much more. The cabins on board the Swiss Corona were comfortable (although we were glad we had booked one... More

Just returned from the Rhone Cruise on the Swiss Corona. No complaints about the cruise itself, but the train journeys there and back on the TGV were a total nightmare. Why on earth does Riviera put us all in the same 2 carriages when there is limited baggage space and limited time at both Lille and Avignon to get on.... More

After having booked a cruise on the Rhone for July with Abercrombie & Kent on the Amadeus Symphony, we were cancelled due to insufficient number of persons on our tour. Abercrombie & Kent represents the Amadeus Symphony as their cruise (it still shows on their webpage and encourages calls), but in reality they have reserved a number of cabins for... More

My family and I recently came back from our 21 Day Romantic Seine & Rhone Paris to Barcelona APT tour in June 2013 on board AmaLegro and AmaDagio. We all had a wonderful time there and I would like to use this opportunity to share my experiences and thoughts with everyone. Hopefully, people would find my article useful in their... More

We just cruised Amadeus Symphony through Gate1 and agree with Forest Hills (mp78813). A most relaxing and leisurely way to travel. Lorin was a superb and informative guide fluent in English who enhanced our trip. The cruise was an excellent experience for us. Each city we stopped in had its own allure and most excursions were top quality. The Symphony... More

8 day cruise - Swiss Corona excellent ship. Would have liked a little more shore time in the evenings but the staff and the food are great and everything is spotless. Cabin spacious and we upgraded to Ruby for the opening window. This was worthwhile as we could sit in the cabin out of the sun in an afternoon with... More

Just returned from a great eight day river cruise on the “Amadeus Symphony”: sailing on the Rhone and Saone from Lyon down to Arles and back. The operating company “Luftner Lines” is Austrian based though my booking was made via “Voyage Prive” who were selling space for “E-Waterways” somewhat convoluted but I’ll come back to that later. If you are... More
