It's known locally as the Hidden Gem. If you can find it then you will understand why when you go inside. This Catholic Church truly is a gem in a busy city. You won't believe how peaceful it is when you see where it is located. Fantastic internal architecture and a great place where you can experience God.

This is a beautiful little church right in the city center. My mother dragged me reluctantly in on a recent visit to Manchester. I'm so glad she did. I'm looking forward to my next trip to go and see it again.

Came across this hidden gem on a day trip and it was stunning inside and out. It's tucked away in the city center but is worth finding and spending some quiet time reflecting.

Lovely old hidden Catholic church where I used to go for Confession when I was a teenager in the 60s before a good night out. I reckoned my meagre sins would be nothing compared to what the priests had heard from the less law abiding citizens of the city! Still beautiful and as peaceful as a good church should be.... More

People call this beautiful little church The Hidden Gem. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Tucked away in a back street but easy to find.

They have a mass here at 5.15 pm on a Saturday. Great location in the city centre and a lovely church.

A sodden wet Saturday pre Christmas visit to mcr. The Christmas markets carry on unabated. Just At the back of brazenose street Near the two hall is this little gem of a church. If you've got 10 minutes/ maybe more if you're feeling spiritually inclined then this smallish but quite lavish and different place IS a peaceful retreat from the... More

This is a lovely little church, tucked away down a backstreet. It's really nice inside and definitely worth a visit - even if you're not religious!

This is called the hidden gem & it is. Such a beauty, take refuge inside, see the beauty of the building. My father showed me this building.

Definitely worth a visit. A police officer along Dalton St. gave me brief directions. Ended up attending the noon mass. Being Catholic, I thought it was a fitting start to my first ever visit to Manchester. What I thought was abstract wall art turned out to be the Church's version of the Stations of the Cross. A sanctuary in the... More
