The Lowry Theatre is one of the nicest theatres in Manchester. Its very clean and modern inside. No matter which seat you get its a good one. I have always found the staff very friendly and keen to help. Outside the theatre there are bars and restaurants so you can make a night of it if you go to see... More

Visited as we were gtaking my neice to the Ballet. A lot of the units were empty but some bargains to be had in the ones that were open. Easy to find, easy to park and a great evening at the theatre. We were in the 'cheap' seats but even so had a great view and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.... More

I specially went to Manchester and this was a key part of the visit. The gallery is very small and was full of noisy school children. It was so bad I cut my visit short and didn't really see much. I complained at the time but the staff didn't seem to be bothered. If you are going avoid any time... More

We like to visit this popular theatre because it is easy to get to and park. There are some good value restaurants (well known chains) very close by and hotels within easy walking distance. The setting is by the Manchester Ship Canal with the new MediaCity and BBC next door. Nice for an evening stroll (great sunsets) before the theatre. More

Culture, entertainment, food, drink, views, art, buzz, shops, transport links, parking, and a cinema where you press a button and a waiter comes to take your order as you recline in the world's biggest cinema chair. BBC staff who decided not to relocate because they thought Shepherds Bush was classier than Salford Quays need to wipe away the cobwebs from... More
