Chips lovely! Maybe too pricey, but that's no change for a captive audience!! Result was poor but no effect on the food!

Excellent stadium; I took my kids to watch City v Boro and we all felt very safe. Great views from seats in lower tier of Colin Bell stand. Buses opposite afterwards to take you back to town for £1.80. Loads of helpful stewards also. (Apparently the pies in the ground are pretty good to but I cant say I tried... More

I previously enjoyed a visit to this stadium: Middlesbrough FC needed a draw to qualify for Europe and a last minute penalty save ensured we did so at City's expense. Footballing times may be harder but it is not lost on us hard footie fans that City got 30,000 + in when they were in league 1- proper fans support... More

Home fans sang throughout so good atmosphere for a Top 7 Premier League ground, lots of banter between the home and away ends. No obvious away pubs outside the ground, could only find a pub with a 'Home Fans Only' sign. Good value for money, decent pint and match-day programme. Location isn't the best, but that's pretty much the same... More

Top quality stadium. The architecture is amazing, and the food and beer stands around the stadium improve your journey. The city fans are too boring, dont make sound most of the match and there is no atmosphere , and this is the only disadvantage.

The tour of the stadium was great, the personal touches made it for me. It was informative but not too serious. The tour guide Andrew was a great guy who made us feel welcome and had light hearted banter with everyone. I would highly recommend this tour as true to the club it had a family feel about it.

The stadium is far from downtown, hardly any services along the way. Atmosphere was surprisingly bad even though it was a CL game against Munich. Fans turn in just before the kick-off (except the fans for the visiting team!). Now that I've experience it, no need to revisit.

I'm sorry but it's just another bland modern football stadium, literally in the middle of nowhere. It's a distant 3rd for any football fan who goes to Manchester after Old Trafford and the National football museum. Very little history here as it's only been a football venue for a decade.
