We didn't plan on going here, we were in Manchester and googled places to see and this came up so we took a risk and off we went....It was a lovely sunny day so it was busy but plenty places to sit/stand to view the planes...activities for the kids were food, park and bouncy castles. Access to a couple of... More

I went there today with my daughter and grandson and if you love planes, you will love it. You can get very close to the planes and two of the pilots waved at us. It is amazing how the cargo planes takes off at all, they are so big and heavy. The children's attractions are good too and seeing Concorde... More

This place is like our second home and we visit nearly every week. The planes pass very close to the viewing platforms and the Pilots often wave to acknowledge you. There are also a few airplanes parked up inside the complex, including Concorde which you can pay a fee to look inside. There is also a well stocked shop and... More

Love going here on a regular basis lots to see and do for families, the concorde tour is brill but needs to be booked in advance, they have a bouncy castle and a play bus which is extra for the small ones, also a play area which does get quite busy, nice gift shop, restaurant, coffee shop and takeaway, parking... Excellent views of the planes on take off and landing. Best time to go for this is in the morning - 9ish as you get most of the long-haul around then. Car parking is quite expensive at £3 an hour but as others have said, you can park a 10 minute walk away at The Romper for free. The Concorde... More

A 90 minute guided tour of Concorde, started with a video, then a walk around the aircraft. Time in the cabin and also a visit to the cockpit. Narrated very informatively by one guide in and around the aircraft and a second in the cockpit. Ex BA Concorde staff, very friendly and helpful.

Excellent attraction and fantastic views of the planes coming and going even on the foggy morning we went. Car parking is pricey at £3 per hour. Concorde is also there but that attracts an additional fee.

I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed my visit. Visited Monday 30th March with my 4 year old son and 6 year old nephew who enjoyed the day. We did a 20 minute Concorde tour which lets you see inside and outside the aircraft but not the cockpit. Given the age of the children this was... More

We thoroughly enjoy spending a couple of hours here at the Runway Visitor Park. The parking, however, is very over priced so I suggest that you park elsewhere and walk into the park which is free to get into. Overall, I always love coming here because I am most definitely a plane spotter and recognise each model by name. The... More
