The actual viewing area and visitor attractions (planes, shops etc) are a great place to go for a day out. You need good weather as there is no shelter but lots of seating and picnic areas plus a small play park and lots of space for children to run around. It is possible to spend a lot of time watching... More

Enjoyed a family day out at the visitor park, went on board Concorde, ate Sunday lunch in the restaurant and kids found plenty to do in addition to watching the planes. Will definitely return.

Good size viewing area at lots of different levels so you can watch the planes land and take off. Well worth the wait to see the A380 take offal well as land. Even if you are not a plane spotter it is still fascinating to watch everything that is going on. There is a playground for children incase they get... More

At first the meals do look a fair price but watch out for the glass of water sting as it turns up as a £1.90 bottle. The food ordered was a all day breakfast and chicken & chips £13.20 . Portion size was small but very tasty. Staff were polite and helpful overall 6/10 if the portions were bigger it... More

We manage to arrive about ten minute before the tour because the signs were few and far between. Ar the reception area, we booked in - there was a small viewing, where they showed us all about Concorde and what the flying passengers thought it - when the flights first started, the price was only £199; as more routes became... Not been for several months but visited today to find that the take away ( chips, sausage etc.) no longer available. Used to enjoy sitting watching the planes and tucking into some chips. As did my grandchildren. This option is no longer available, the only take away food is sandwiches and panini's. You can still get chips if you wish... More

Went here last week, have been coming since I was a little kid and still going now at 22. Lots of planes to see, you can't get any closer!! Can't comment on car park prices as we got there by foot. There is a mini shuttle bus (the number 200) that goes from Manchester Airport straight to the park for... More

Parking at the Visitor Park is a hefty £3 per hour, max £12 and the only alternative is bus 200 from the airport which is about three miles away. If you opt to take one of the Concorde tours then parking is free and the Park was easy to find using satnav. I went with my wife who said she... More

Loved it. Simple principle, watch some planes take off and land. But how fabulous, you just need a nice day and its perfect - my 5 and 2 yr old girls were mesmerised. One tip is its cost per car so cram into one car if you can.. you'll be there longer than you think. The restaurant was being refurbed... More
