I've had an amazing day being shown around two of aviation's great aircraft, and watching many other aircraft taking off and landing. I know it's a bit geeky, and understand its not for everyone, but if your not interested you won't have read this far. First comment, if you don't use a sat nav and think it must be easy... More

Visited Runway this morning as we have not been for quite a while it has got a lot more to see and do since our last visit Saw the big one come in The Emirates it is huge. Then went for a coffee it was very nice but we really missed the old "Greasy Joe's that used to be there... More

Bought this visit to Concorde and Nimrod as a surprise Christmas present. Booked for January as we couldn't wait. We were really lucky as it was just us two in our tour! Tony (ex Concorde pilot) was very informative and gave us all the info we needed without getting too technical for me but not dumbed down for my partner.... More

Really great view of the runway and great refreshments just a few feet away, great to bring a picnic for a chilled family day out. Also has a cute little souvenirs shop

As airport/aircraft viewing goes this place is very good. £3 for an hour may seem expensive but there are plenty of arrivals & departures to watch, excellent photography opportunities plus the preserved aircraft to see. Well worth a visit.

I took my 1 year old here today as he loves watching the planes in the sky. Although the parking is pricey (£3 per hour) an hour was all we needed before it got too cold. We wanted to see the Emirates A380 come in to land but it was delayed so we missed it. If you're local and just... More

Far too expensive for a brief visit-ok if you have a car full of people and are there for the whole day-but not economical for one person for a brief visit. Better to find somewhere close to the airport to view the planes

After visiting here as a child with my father, we decided to take our daughter. There has been a big development into the restaurant, shop and displays. Lovely place to spend a family afternoon.

This place blew our expectations out of the water! There's plenty of car parking, well maintained grounds, a shop and a restaurant which was under construction. When we visited there was food trucks because the restaurant/cafe was closed. We loved the raised sections which gave great views of the runway! We decided to do the concord tour which was amazing... I bring my daughter and nieces and nephew quite regularly to the aviation park and we love it. However for a Father's Day present I bought my dad the Concorde tour gift voucher as like me , he's a bit of a plane fanatic. The tour , lasting 30 minutes was brilliant. The tour guide ( who was a former... More
