I come here several times a year and I love it. There are now several viewing areas quite close to the runway and on a nice day you can spend hours watching the planes come and go. The views are better when planes use the old 23R runway. There is free access to an old BEA plane and part of... More

Visited the park yesterday with my 2 year old as he's loves planes, travelled from leeds so it was a very long day (by coach). He loved every minute of it , weather was extremely bitter so wrap up with many layers :-) they have alittle park, which is good but maybe add a slide and some more little bits... More

Whether you are an enthusiast or a day tripper, the viewing park offers lots to see, not least the opportunity to be so close to the departing and arriving aircraft. On a fine day there is lots of space to sit and watch, even have a picnic, or alternatively sit in the warmth of the cafe where there is a... More

Good say out but a little expensive for what you get? Nice to get so close to the aircraft and you can feel the rumble at take off. Nice in the good weather but couldn't stand there in the cold. Cafe available for snacks and drinks.

Visited for an hour on the way back from south. Car park is very expensive. £3 an hour which is a bit of a rip off really as there are not many staff to pay and it's just a viewing area. Didn't use the café and couldn't get booked in for the Concorde experience as it was full. If you... More

We have visited here a couple of times now. Plenty of parking available which is £3 an hour but i believe it is free if you do one of the tours. We did the concorde tour which was very informative and interesting. The tour guide was clearly very passionate about the plane and he also had a great sense of... More

Did the Concorde technical tour. Small group of just 5 people. Very interesting walk around the aircraft and visit to the cabin and flight deck with friendly and knowledgeable guides. The site also offers a good viewing location for aircraft movements; although this can depends on which runway is active and in which direction. There are a few other static... More

Like everything else associated with the airport food drink and car parking basically a rip off, airport hotel at the other end of the runway offers much better value although it can be difficult to park there when the weather is nice.

Me and my father had booked the Concorde tour on the 27th july 2014. We had arrived at 12:25 and managed to catch the last of the long haul flights departing and seeing many other aircraft land such as the last monarch 757 and a special liveried condor 757. Many airlines had aircraft out and about so there was no... More
