Went with a little boy and girlfriend and had a good couple of hours. Pros - Spacious, great views, plenty of parking, cafe, kids play area. Cons - expensive cafe and car park, Concorde expensive, muddy car parking field, bad directions to site, long queues to get in/out, poor toilets. I know there's more cons than pros but the main... I have been a regular visitor to the RVP for years and have always thought the price of the parking was a little on the steep side but it was something I could tolerate for a good day out. Recently I visited and the Ringway Restaurant was being refurbished. It was great to see some of the money was being... More

Went to manchester runway visitor park with three year old grandson who thought it amazing that he could watch clearly take off and landings of various flights . A good Day out at no cost except the £3 per hour parking so if you walk or arrive by bus it is free. Lots of picnic tables so we will be... More

1. The Concorde tour was FANTASTIC. Absolutely sensational. So difficult to understand how the powers that be think it's acceptable that this superb plane should be grounded. The tour was very well organised and really interesting. 2. The café next door, however, is a different story altogether. The food was fine, no problem there, but the jobsworth attitude... it's an... Plane spotters paradise. However the main dining area was shut for refurbishment and the burger van had run out of everything.. Only one plane open to look round and the Concorde bit was being done up and was shut. None of this was made clear when we went in. I imagine when it's all open it would be a nice... More

Well organised. Video to start the tour which was very informative. The guide took us into the hangar where the incredible, even now, futuristic look of the magnificent Concorde awaited its visitors. We were toured around Concorde with an explanation of what all the external components were then taken inside. I am 5'2" and I felt I had to 'duck'... More

We live just down the road from this attraction and I'm amazed we'd not been before but our son was planning for Aeronautical Engineering at uni so it hit the top of our visit list. The Concorde Tour is great and really informative and the technical element was great. The overall park has a good shop and lots of things... More

This place is great ! Brilliant layout and accesible for everyone. On our visit 1-11-14 we managed to get on the tour of Concorde at 10am there was only 6 of us on the tour so it was great got a detailed talk from the staff without it been over crowded. Plus car parking (£3 per hour or £12 a... More

Really surprisingly good day out. Viewing areas are well laid out and lots of seating. The cafe/restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. Concorde is amazing!!
