Had a great day here last week, constant flow of planes to keep our attention, plus a plane that we could board. Look forward to returning and going on to Concorde in the future. Cafe & Restaurant on site, for best value I would suggest the Restaurant. Parking is £3 per hour with a maximum of £12 which is good... More

We love the runway viewing park, we went during half term so there were lots of other activities. www.greatdaysoutwithdad.com Sadly though, most of the planes are closed so you cannot go on them to view. You can view a bendy bus and one of the planes, but you do have to pay to view concorde and the price is the... More

GOOD POINTS: -There is a shop for enthusiasts to buy magnets, plane models, postcards etc. -The planes that you can look around are fascinating. Have a look in the randomly placed bus too for a detailed mini model of the airport. -Great place to bring young kids and dogs as there is loads of room to run around, and it's... More

We took our two young children and we all had a lovely afternoon. We were there for about 4 hours and there was plenty to see. The cafe serves the usual hot drinks and snacks and is reasonably priced. The play area for the children is small but fun, and being able to climb aboard airport was great for the... More

If you're ever stuck for something to do with the kids at the weekend and you live fairly locally, this is a great place to visit on the spur of the moment (as we often do). If you live further afield it's worth allowing more time for your visit as there's plenty to see. We've visited many times as my... More

We visited the runway park last summer and spent a lovely afternoon there. Having not been able to see Concorde we returned with a reservation this time and did the basic tour. What a great experience - it takes around an hour and is excellent. Our tour guide was very good - well informed and interesting we hung on his... More

We went on the 1.5 hour Concorde technical tour, and it was great to hear all about the history of the plane by experienced tour guides, and to actually sit in the plane and the cockpit. You can just go to watch the planes (£3/hour car parking, or free entry via public transport). They used to have a takeaway and... More

With Emirates A380 landing late morning every day it's worth a visit to see this huge plane land. Great facility for plane spotters.

I have been visiting here for many years, and it's only improved over time. On a good day in peak season there are some great aircraft to be spotted, and the facilities at the park are very good these days. Having a Concorde there is a bonus and everyone should go and see one at least once in their lives!

Manchester is often raining but has a fabulous restaurant serving great food by polite and friendly staff. We arrived in good time to eat and wait for our first sight off the airbus a380 . Secondly we booked a champagne reception with Concorde with other visitors .Our tour guides were very good with great knowledge of the aircrafts history .... More
